Part 6... Eagle meets the Sky

It such a good feeling to be back home.. I mean my family, our house, good friends with their surprise last night, is just overwhelming. But amidst all these, there's one thing that's missing...

So what are your plans young lady? Tanong ni Dad habang nagbe-breakfast kami. I just gave him a half smile because right now I just want the deal to get over with as soon as possible. Or maybe I just want to see her again that's why....

I want the deal to get done as soon as possible Dad.. I said seriously but I just found myself the center of the smiles and smirks of my family. What? I said as I tried to divert my attention to the food I'm eating.

Yun nga ba ang dahilan or you just missed her so much that you can't even wait to see her again? Biro ni kuya sa akin kaya binato ko siya ng tissue paper dahilan para magalit si Mommy sa amin.

Stop it! Loel, Isabel... nasa harapan tayo ng pagkain, ayaw ko na dito kayo mag-away. Saway ni Mom sa amin, pero ang bully kong kuya ay binelatan pa ako pabalik.

Uhm, after meeting with the uhm...possible client, can I go have a vacation? I nervously asked them because I know na baka hindi nila ako payagan dahil kadarating ko lang.

Are you with your friends? Mom asked.

Alone... I want some time alone muna.. I said pero nagtinginan sila ni Dad.

Isabel I know hindi kana bata, but can you atleast tell us kung saan? Dad asked with a pleading tone.

Malapit lang dad. Sa tagaytay lang.. I plainly answered.

Asus, saan pa nga ba kung hindi doon sa sanctuary nila ni... but even before he said the name, I already stood up para batukan siya.

Isabel! Loel! This is my last warning you two... galit na saway ni Mom habang si Dad ay natatawa lang sa inaasal namin ni Kuya.

I missed this.. he uttered kaya napatingin kaming lahat sa kanya.. I missed us, our family.. yung ganito tayo kompleto at nag-aasaran kayo ng kuya mo.

And with that natawa kaming lahat. We indeed enjoyed our breakfast together. Catching up, sharing stories, plans and all the things that we can possibly be talking.

Jho, I just want to remind you about your dinner meeting with the Skyline Airlines tonight. Paalala ni Ate Ella sa akin.

Oh with that Ate Ella buti nabanggit mo, nawala na sa isipan ko yan.. nakangising sabi ko sa kanya..

Occupied ka kasi masyado sa graduation ni Isa kaya siguro ganyan ka no?

Siguro nga ate, dami ko kasi iniisip lately, yung graduation, yung opening natin, saka yung... ah basta madami talaga.. pagrereklamo ko pero tinaasan lang ako ng kilay bilang sagot..
