Daniel spoke with the real estate agent and she sent us the address to meet up with her at.
"Babe it's a sharp left here." I pointed as he turned into the driveway. The real estate agent waved at us from the porch.

As we got out of the car, she walked up to greet us.
"Hi I'm Cynthia! We spoke on the phone. How are you guys doing today?" She hugged us both.
"We're great!" I replied cheerfully. Daniel smiled, holding my hand.
"So I heard there's a baby, how is he?" She asked looking around for him.
"He's good, six months old now and loves screaming. We left him with his uncle for a little bit while we hang out with you Cynthia." Daniel replied this time. Cynthia laughed.
"Alright! Well this is house number one. I have four more for you guys if this isn't your style but they all are beautiful single family homes in your budget." She said.
Cynthia unlocked the door and let us wander around as she gave details on certain things in the home. This went on for two more houses.

We were driving to meet Cynthia at our fourth home choice.
"Babe you are so picky!" Daniel complained.
"I have to have the right one. The others didn't feel right to me, you know?" I tried to explain myself.
"You know I always want to make sure you get what you want and that you're comfortable but damn girl!" He exclaimed, making us both laugh.
He parked along the street, behind Cynthia's vehicle and hopped out to see the house.

"Alright guys this one is actually my favorite so I hope you like it too. Now it doesn't have a driveway like the others but I promise it accommodates in other ways."
We walked up to the front door as she described the detailing on the exterior. I had no idea what she was talking about but it was decent looking.
She kind of droned on as I looked around myself, admiring the house. It was beautiful on the inside. It was a three bedroom home, two bathrooms, a furnished basement, spacious rooms, cream colored walls with a beautiful mantle in the front room, paintings were still up from the last owner. I mean, it was amazing. Cynthia was showing us the bedrooms as I clasped Daniel's hands with mine, tapping his hand with my middle finger twice. That was our signal. He looked at me baffled.
"Cynthia can I talk to Sloane for a minute?" He asked.
"Sure! I'll be in the other room." She walked into the hallway and disappeared.
"Are you sure? This is nice but not as nice as the other ones." He said.
"They were too big and flashy. I just wanted something nice and simple. Plus we're not far from Andrea. I think this is it."
Daniel thought for a moment.
"If you don't like it, we can always keep looking." I hugged him, rubbing his back.
We waited in silence for a moment.
"Yeah, lets see the last one first. If it's a no then we'll take this." He replied solemnly.
He hated it.
I kissed his cheek and said,
"Don't settle for this house just because I like it. We're a team, both of our opinions matter."
He smiled and walked out to Cynthia as I trailed behind.
"Hey Cynthia, were not feeling this one. Can we see the last one?" Cynthia nodded and led us out, texting us the address and hopping back in her car.
We got back in our car, as I started the gps on my phone.
"I think she's getting annoyed. She's not as chipper as she first was." Daniel chuckled.
"Well we haven't really been listening to her and we've ran through 4 houses now."
Daniel drove off.

...

Soon we reached the last house. I crossed my fingers, hoping this would be it.
"Alright you guys, I'm sorry I'm getting a little drowsy I'm not really feeling too well but this is our last house and I intend to see it through!" Cynthia replied weakly. "I think my lunch finally caught up to me." She chuckled.
"Are you sure Cynthia? We can do this another day." I asked her. She shook her head no.
"We're here now honey. And I have a good feeling about this one. Plus you're my only clients today." She giggled.
"Alright now this house has the big driveway you wanted. We have ourselves a nice mahogany wood door, and red brick around the rest of the house. We have some large windows in the front and a nice patio on the side."
She unlocked the door and let us inside to a beautiful interior.
"Now it's a split level but it's a gorgeous home! Again, three bedrooms, two baths, the basement is practically another home though." She laughed.
"Come this way, I wanna show you the kitchen. It has a nice little island in the middle with bar stools on either side. There's plenty of cabinets here for you, stove, dishwasher and fridge. The sink has two big parts to it. All marble countertops, and the cabinets are of the mahogany color also." She led us into the living room.
"This is the living room! Beautiful, spacious and has an all white mantle like the last home but with the actual fireplace. I see a tv there, couches here and a coffee table in the middle." She pointed around the room, painting the picture for us.
She continued on through the house like this but I'm sure we were both sold already. Daniel clasped my hand in his and tapped me like I did before, a lot! I smiled at him wildly. At this point we were at the master bedroom again.
"Hey Cynthia, can I talk to Daniel for a moment?"
"Sure honey." She smiled weakly and walked to another room.
"I'm glad you love it cause I love it!" I whisper yelled.
"Babe it's PERFECT! I see no reason why we can't take it. It's simple like you wanted and has all the stuff I want, plus it's nice in here!" He whisper yelled back. I laughed hysterically, high-fiving him.
"This is it." I said, smiling wildly at my surroundings.
Daniel ran out to Cynthia to give her the good news.
"Hey Cynthia! This is it! We'll take it!" He said excitedly.
Cynthia high-fived us also yelling,
"YEESS! No offense but FINALLY! I knew I had a good feeling about this one." We all laughed and headed downstairs.

We all stood in the driveway.
"Well I will get you both started on paperwork first thing tomorrow and we'll get you your keys. Yes?"
"Yes!" We stated in unison.
"Thank you so much Cynthia." I said.
"Thank you for your patience also." Daniel added, chuckling.
"It was my pleasure, honey."
We hugged her again to say our goodbyes, and waved as we drove back home.
