Suspicious

While Daniel left I went to get Si and brought him back to Daniel's room. I washed him up, changed him and fed him. He was fast asleep against my chest. Just then the door unlocked and Daniel emerged.
"So who the hell is Michelle?!" I whisper yelled once he came back in the room. Michelle was right behind him, causing me to covering my mouth shocked.
"I'm sor-"
She laughed.
"I'm Michelle, I'm just Perry's niece/assistant. He wanted to try having an assistant for the tour and I wanted to tag along." She smiled reaching her hand out to shake mine.
"That's pretty cool. I hope you're learning a lot." I said lowly and a little nervous.
"I am. You must be Daniel's girlfriend Sloane. Daniel talks about you a lot. And Josiah. Is he around?" Her eyes grew wide as she noticed him against my chest.
"He's so precious!!" I could see the excitement on her face as I laughed lightly.
"I'd give him to you but he's a light sleeper. " I said.
"And he screams." Daniel added.
Michelle laughed at that.
"Well I hope I get a chance to see him later." Michelle laughed again. She tapped Daniel's shoulder lightly as she let herself out of the room.
My eyes scrunched at the sight of it but I quickly fixed my face.
"Damn Grouch." Daniel said laughing at me.
"Who'd you think Michelle was?" He questioned.
"I'm just asking! I would like to know the kind of people you're around Daniel." I replied, rubbing Si's back.
"Whatever." He laughed again. He kissed my forehead and sat beside me watching tv the rest of the night.

The next day we went to the beach nearby.
Daniel invited everyone along but only Trevor and Michelle came with our family.
We all packed up in Daniel's parents car and Trevor took Michelle in his car. Once we got to the beach, everyone got in the water but me and Si. I set out a blanket in the sand with some of his toys and played with him.
"Baby boy! It's Mr Elephant!" I made his toy dance in front of him.
Si screamed and embraced his toy in a big hug, plopping both of them in my lap.
I laughed and Si pushed himself back up.
"Look at my big boy!" I said excitedly kissing him. He smiled pressing his hands on my face. For a second there he was biting on my nose with his gums.
"Kisses! Si! We kiss mommy, no biting!" I said pulling him off my noise. He laughed again and crawled over to play with his toys.
I watched him play a little while. And I looked out to see everyone else.
Daniel's parents got in the water a little while ago but were walking along the beach when I looked up. Daniel, Trevor and Michelle were all in the water splashing and screaming. While I was watching, Daniel grabbed Michelle by her waist and dunked her in the ocean. Trevor watched laughing as she emerged a few seconds later. She popped back up holding onto his arms and she pulled him in closer to her. I kept my eyes on them as Trevor started splashing them again. They broke apart and start jumping the waves.

I turned my attention back to Si who was screaming and crying, eating the sand. I swatted his hand and gave him some water to wash out the sand in his mouth.
"Josiah." I mumbled angrily. He cried some more as I gave him some milk instead and let him settle in my lap.
Daniel got out of the water and ran over to us. The water was glistening off of his chest and his abs as he came closer. He winked at me, making me felt all over. Reminded me of when we first met.
He laid out a towel beside us and propped down onto it.
"Hey baby." He said, leaning over to kiss me. I leaned away from him and he hopped up and held my face to kiss me. I pulled away laughing and screaming.
"Daniel!! You're wet!" I hollered in between my laughter.
"Yeah! Something you should be too. Why didn't you give Si to mom?" He asked. He laid back on the towel to dry off.
"I wanna be with my baby." I said, smiling down at him.
"Speaking of, it looked an awful lot like you were pretty cozy out in the water with Michelle." I said, rubbing some sand off Si's chin.
"We were all just having fun. I promise you, you have nothing to worry about."
I gave him a look, my eyes squinted real low at him and with my angriest face.
"I better not."
He took a dry hand and held mine.
"I swear." He squeezed my hand tight.
We were silent for a moment.

"You might wanna worry about Si, he's eating sand again." He said laughing.
"You saw that the first time?!" I said shocked and fighting Si again.
"I gotta have an eye on my family. Guess it's my turn to watch him."
"Yeah you're dry now. He's all yours." I handed Si over and laid down on the blanket, soaking up the warmth of the sun.
