Prince Wang Eun grabbed his practice sword and dashed out of the room, causing distress for his nanny while she screamed after him.
"All of you, hurry follow the prince!" She flapped her arms anxiously as she instructed.
Here we go again...
I sighed and followed the rest of the servants out, in search of the child prince as he was long gone away from his quarters.
"Prince Wang Eun! Where are you?"
"Your Highness, come out please!"
All of us shouted with our might as we searched high and low for Prince Wang Eun. He's not in the gardens or the library room; where could he be?
"Are we going to get punished again?" MiRa panicked.
"Where could he be?! He did take his sword out though..." Wonhee's words gave me an idea where Prince Wang Eun might be and I rushed out of the gardens towards the practice grounds.
There were shoutings from a distance and I knew sure enough, it was Prince Wang Eun. He was pointing the sword recklessly to the front as he tried to remember the choreography he learnt hours ago.
Anger rises within me and I clenched my fists. When would the prince learn to grow up to inform his servants his whereabouts? Does he really enjoy making his servants suffer?
"Prince Wang Eun!" I called out to him, making him startled as he spun around quickly.
"W-what are you doing here? Go back!" He shouted in a rude tone as he swung his sword towards me.
"Yah! Be careful with that thing!" I swung my body under the sword as it crosses my head in a slow motion.
"Ah sorry!" The prince got flustered as he kept his sword away hurriedly, afraid that he might really take a person's life if he mishandled the sword any longer. "Wait...what did you call me just now? Yah?" As if he realised what I've said, he approaches me dangerously as he stared daggers into my eyes.
"Y-you were swinging that sword just now...it just came out accidentally!" I defended as I lowered my head. Better be safe than sorry; I certainly don't want another spanking.
I felt his presence close to me as he leaned down to look at me. "How dare you." His tone was deep and dangerous as he threatened. I felt my body trembling as I tried to control my breathing. He is a prince after all.
Prince Wang Eun grabbed on to my chin and raised my head up to look at him; our noses nearly touching as he stares intensely into my eyes. "What shall we do with you huh?"
"Y-your highness..." I stuttered as I stared at his lips; not daring to look him in the eyes.
He let go of my chin all of the sudden and clapped his hands in excitement. "I know!" He exclaimed as he grinned slyly at me.
What's he going to do?!
"Use your martial arts only when you're in real danger."
Father's words rang in my mind and I was super ready to defend myself; even if it meant to hurt a prince.
"You shall teach me the sword practice just now!" Prince Wang Eun exclaimed happily as he smiled proudly to himself.
"What?!" I questioned aloud in shock.
"You watched me practiced the entire time right? You should have already memorised all the steps. So you will teach me, as a punishment because you called me 'Yah'." He said satisfyingly as he looked at me.
