A-Yeon POV
"The killer is...Prince Wang Yo." Mother confessed and I couldn't believe my ears.
I was in a state of shock as I tried to comprehend what grudge Prince Wang Yo had with Father that he had to kill him.
"W-why would he?" My voice trembled.
"Because Jongsuk oppa knew who tried to poisoned me in the past." She replied.
"E-even so, Father did nothing wrong to him!" I exclaimed as I tried to control my breathing. "Who..." I looked at Mother with teary eyes.
She gulped, took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Sighing, she revealed. "It's Queen Yoo."
I fell to my knees at the unexpected twist as I thought of how Father had died so innocently because of the royal family. We have been manipulated and fooled by them all these while...I clenched my fists in anger and gritted my teeth. I felt like I was going to explode and I couldn't stay under the same roof with my murderer any longer.
"Please A-Yeon ah, you must seek revenge for your father. Do whatever you can and I will help you to achieve it." Mother grabbed both of my hands and pleaded with determination.
"I will." I said through gritted teeth.

The palace was in utter mess ever since the truth leaked out about Prince Wang Yo being the murderer of my father. He was held captive by the guards in the palace by the King's orders and would only be released when the King said so. Queen Yoo was detained in her room as well with minimal contact except for Prince Wang Jung.
As I hid in my room from all the fake concerned looks from the people, one of the servant announced the arrival of Prince Wang Eun. Without my permission, he entered the room as if he was his own.
"Oho...what's with the glum face of yours?" He leaned in and grinned.
"Are you trying to piss me off?" I rolled my eyes as he obviously knew the reason.
"Hey, come on. This was not the reason why I came here to find you. Shall we sneak out for our rabbit hunt today?" Prince Wang Eun sounded excited and naughty like a little kid.
"I don't have the mood." I rejected.
"Come on...it's definitely better than being trapped in this palace. You did promise me the other day! If we don't go for a rabbit hunt today, there's won't be any other days! Because..." He suddenly stopped talking and hesitated as if something got stuck in his throat.
I gave him the side look as I wondered about his words.
"Because I'm getting married in three days time." Prince Wang Eun confessed sadly and my heart drooped somehow at the sudden news. It's not actually sudden, I already knew Soon Deok and Prince Wang Eun would get married some day but...
Why am I troubled about this?
"A-Yeon ah...so will you go on a rabbit hunt with me?" His puppy eyes successfully melted my heart and I agreed voluntarily.
People in the palace might judge me for enjoying all too quick, but I really just want to get this over with. It's best to bid farewell soon than drag the people that I care about with me. I can't get anyone involved.
We sat on the grass by the meadows, stroking our rabbits gently as we stared towards the faraway view across the land. The breeze so calming and cool as it whirled around us, the one time I felt peace and totally forgot about the happenings around me.
It's as if nothing had changed and I'd be going home after this.
"Ah...this is so nice." Prince Wang Eun commented as he smiled happily at the rabbit. "I will definitely take good care of you! What shall I name you as?" He thought excitedly as he carried the rabbit up from his lap.
