It was the first time I had killed a person other than animals. I gasped and the sword from my hand dropped. Trembling, I looked up towards the King to find that he was staring at my neck in with an expression of disbelief.
"Y-you..." He stuttered upon his words and I felt a presence behind me. In fact, I was already surrounded by multiple guards as they stood around; waiting for orders.
"You are not Prince Wang Eun..." King Tae Jo gasped as he continued to fixedly stare at the necklace hanging on my neck.
I'm dead.
At the King's abrupt confession, my hands were instantly locked at my back as two guards grabbed them. One of the man who seemed to be their leader interrogated, "Who are you?"
His voice was low and dangerous; causing me to be speechless as I trembled in fear.
"Why are you in place of the 10th Prince? Where is he?!" The man shouted at me and I flinched; shutting my eyes as tight as I could while I avoided the topic. Not ready for the impact, my mask was thrown off my face; revealing my identity to everybody.
"A girl?!" Many voices exclaimed in unison with astounded faces. I felt a sharp tinge at the side of my neck and a sword was pointed at me.
I guess this will be my death day. I'm sorry...
Any minute my head's going to be rolling off on the floor.
"Wait." Everybody froze when King Tae Jo spoke.
"Send her to the dungeon." He instructed to his guards and I was soon on the cold grounds of the eery dungeon. The gates closes with a loud screeching sound; sending shivers down my spine.
"I-I can explain...!!" I threw myself towards the gates and pleaded for forgiveness.
"How dare you take advantage of a Prince's status to perform the ritual...be prepared to die tomorrow." The guards reprimanded and left; leaving me in the dark and cold dungeon feeling unjustified.

Prince Wang Eun's POV
"It's sure good to be outside!" I stretched my arms out and took a deep breath. I smiled towards the town in front of me; happy that I was able to leave my duties and responsibilities to A-Yeon.
Everybody's busy with the ritual, no one's going to stop me from playing!
"Let me see..." I counted the hours of time I could have for play time and was super satisfied with the outcome.
"4 hours! I could spend 4 hours alone at the festival! Yes!" I punched my fists in to the air happily as I skipped in to the town excitedly.
There was so much to see in town, especially today where the festival was held. The lantern lights displays, the specialty food, the acrobatic performance and the songs and dance across the town. I ran around like a little kid as I tried all of the food available at the stalls.
I didn't forget to bring my coin pouch today! Means I could eat and buy as much as I like!
Wait a minute...isn't that the girl who attacked me the other day?!
I stopped in my tracks when I noticed a familiar girl with another lady at the stall in front of me. They were looking at some weird accessories and laughing with one another.
"Oho! Now's my chance to get back at you for treating me badly the other day!" I said aloud to myself as I puffed out my chest, walking confidently and working really hard to show an intimidating side as I approached the two ladies.
