Akshay's POV:
We soon reached the hospital. I was asking at the reception for Mausam's room when suddenly Shruti started running towards a.. Boy! And not only that..that guy hugged her? Why? The nurse was saying something but I didn't pay attention I also ran towards her.. mm them. As if she felt my presence behind, she turned to me and smiled. My heart melted with that smile.
"Akshay, this is Neevansh our best friend and Neev he's Akshay a new..." She was introducing us when he cut off "I know who he is. Mausam told me about him and also that we can expect him here with you and that's why I sent her mother to home." He said with a constant smug on his face. I don't felt him like a threat.
"Nice to meet you bro. But remember one thing, she's like a sister to me and you don't ever think of breaking her heart or I'll break your mouth.." He said with a stern face. Like a sister! What a relief.
"Jesus! What is this with your friends and breaking my limbs. Am already scared." I said in mock fear. "I'll never even do such thing in my wildest dream." I replied looking at Shruti. Her cheeks flushed.
"So.. Is she up?" She asked, surely chancing the topic.
"Yeah. Come with me" he replied with a sad expression and started walking. We entered the hospital cabin. And there on the bed was laying a less cheerful pale looking Mausam and a fat plaster was there on her right leg and some bandages on her head.
"Oh God!! Sumi... Dear are you OK? Shruti asked concerned.
" Yupp.. Do I look bad? She replied tried to look OK but failed miserably as the pain was clearly written on her face.
"What were you thinking while crossing the road?" I asked.
"Nothing... It just came at once." She replied.
"Okay.. Now don't stress yourself and eat this vegetables little bunny. You have to take medicines." Neevansh said with care evident in his feature.
"Ughh I don't like these boiled vegetables.. Nor those medicines." She said scrunching her nose in a very cute manner. This girl reminds me of my little sister. She was like this...
"But babu(baby) It will help you to heel fast.." He said.
She exhaled a sharp breath and said "okayyy.... I can survive this nasty enemies."
"You are so adorable." I said.
"You adore me more than her?" She asked mischievously.
"I adore you as a sister." I said.
"Really.. I always wanted a big brother to be spoiled by." She replied sadly Shruti and Neevansh exchanged looks.
"Oh no problem .. I am always ready for that." I never got the chance to do that to my sister.
"Oh Shruti you have got a good man for yourself." Neevansh's voice broke through my thought and looked at Shruti, she was carefully watching me. We stayed there for a while and left after meeting Mausam's mother. She's a good woman. Meanwhile Veer also called me and asked about her health.
Mausam's POV:
My right leg has a minor fracture but the doctor said I have to take rest for 18-20 days. That's mean I can't go to college. This is just not fair, me and Shruti had planned some stuff for our college days but all went in vain now. But a good thing happen that Neev also joined our college. Though they are not happy going without me.
Some days later...
Oh god.. It sucks to be bed ridden. I feel very helpless because I have to look to others for everything. Though Shruti and Neev keep me updated with all the studies and college gossips. Akshau also came with them a few times and we always do talk through calls or messages. He is a good friend and brother only if my Bhaiya would have like him...
Akshay's friend have accepted Shruti and Neev and they are a group now. I feel like am missing everything.....
Some more days later...
Huh.... Its finally over. Yes, my days of bed rest are over, now I can go yo college from tomorrow. My plaster has been removed by the doctor today and he was happy that I took proper rest. I do have a little pain in walling fast and a very pale looking swollen feet but.. Am happy. Because tomorrow is the fresher's party. Yippee am so going to enjoy and I am having a good feeling that something good is going to happen. I am super excited for tomorrow. Shruti told me she'll come at my home at 8 sharp. Its 12 already. OK... I have to wakeup early enough blabbering for now I have to sleep. Bye dairy.
Something good is really gonna happen.
Though am feeling bad to say but I am very disappointed that I got no votes... Is it that bad of a story. I have read some stories here on wattpad those were just worse than mine but got hundreds of votes. Am not saying mine is the best but at least I deserve some tiny mini votes too. Well...
