Mausam's POV:-

His room was tattered and he was sitting on the floor at side of his bed. I took a step inside his room slowly but he didn't notice me.  He was lost in his thoughts.

I walked closer and put a hand on his shoulder.  He jerked and within a blink of an eye he was on his legs and was holding me tightly.

"I knew you will come to me.  I knew it.  I...  I knew you will not leave me."

In a manner he was saying me, everytime it felt different.  He was holding me so tightly that it felt like... He want to hold me captive. I struggled but no use he was holding me real tight.

"Neev...  Your hurting me.  I can't breath."

"Oh shut up." He left me and growled.  I flinched at his tone.  "Now you are getting hurt by my touch huh? " He said and took a step towards me, in reflex I took a step back.

"You can't breathe if I  hug you,  but you were pretty happy in his arms yesterday!" He was coming forward and there was something in his eyes that I never saw before.

Jealousy

"You are...  Why are you behaving..like this Neev. "

"Behaving like what? "

A maniac

I wanted to say,  but can't at the moment.

"You are  my friend.  Th.. "

"Hell of a friend." He shouted and my back hit the wall. "Can't you see how do I feel for you? "

"Neev.  Listen to me.  Calm down please. "I said very softly. I haven't  seen this side of his.  So much anger.

He cupped my cheek in his hand.  Our faces were so close that it was uncomfortable for me to speak. But at this stage I don't want to rile him up.

"Neev...  I always think of you as a friend my best friend.  Who knows me better than myself. Who is always there for me. Whom i trusted with all my problems. But Neev... Karan. He's..."

"What are you doing....  Put me down." He didn't let me complete.  On hearing Karan's name only his anger has returned with more vengeance.

He picked me up bridal style and walked so fast that my head litterly spinned then he hrew me on the bed.

"What are you doing? "

"You said you trust me. "

"I.. I do.  But..." I tried to get up but at the very same time he lunged at me and held my hands to the bed firmly.

"Neev...  Lemme go. "

"Don't  you like my touch huh?"

"You have gone insane. " I shouted.

"You are making me insane. You dont have any idea how much I  love you. "

He what?

My eyes bulged out of their shockets.

"I have loved you for all my life Mausam. Just say yes to me.  I'll show you what really love is.  You will be happy with me."

His tone was begging me to believe  but the position I was in.  My mind refused to trust him.

"Neev.  Just let  me go.  I am sorry but...  I don't love you.  I always think of you as a friend. "

"Then change your thinking!" He growled.  "What's there in that bastard that I don't have?" My blood boiled at him calling Karan names.

"You are crossing limits now.  Just lemme go. NOW. "  I shouted to the top of my lungs and tried to get myself free.

"Does his touch felt like this? " He said and touched my hands.

"Don't touch me. Leave.... "

He started kissing my neck. And pinned me more to the bed.

Is he going to r...  No no...  Oh god.

"Does his kisses feel like this." He stopped  and looked at me.

I was struggling  to get away from him.  Tears were pouring from my eyes. He suddenly left me.

"Oh god...  What was I doing?  Am sorry. Mausam."  He sat on the bed and lifted me up in a sitting position.

"Mausam...." His voice was terrified. "Mausam please forgive me.  I didn't think...  I.  Please Mausam are you okay?"

I don't  know if I  was okay. I trusted him as a friend but guess I  was wrong.

"Mausam." He touched my shoulder gently.

"Don't." I looked him dead in the eyes.  He moved his hands.

"I am sorry.  I wasn't  thinking....."

"Save that."

I wiped my tears and ran away from him.  I heard him calling my name from behind.  I heard him begging to stop. But I didn't look back.  I ran out of his house.  My eyes were blurry as tears never stopped flowing. In my hurry I didn't see someone coming and bumped into them.
