Mausam's POV
Class was pretty interesting but I saw Shruti, she was distracted and that boy Akshay, he was giving her sorry looks all time. Why is he behaving like a love seek puppy? I thought. As soon as the class got over we left and were walking towards downstairs "Shruti... Wait" we heard a male voice from behind. I took a quick glance towards Shruti.. seems like she knows the owner of the voice. We turned and I found it was Akshay who called her, he was coming towards us.. More like running.
"Hi! Umm I hope you didn't forget me?" He said to Shruti who was now looking at him without any expression on her face. I took my time and took his features in. He was tall, well build, fair skin boy with blonde chocolate coloured hairs. Hmm... May be he goes to gym. He is pretty handsome why wouldn't one fall for him? Except me of course.
"I tried, but couldn't"my train of thoughts were stopped by Shruti's voice. I saw him flinch at her statement.. Ookkay. So now she's giving him a cold shoulder.
Akshay's pov
I was talking with my friends when my eyes fell on a figure entering the class, at first I averted my eyes but.. then I realized something or more precisely someone. I turned again to look at that someone and it was looking at me. There she was, the girl for whom I came here. The girl with hazel brown eyes, fair complexion and full pink lips. The lips from where I can't avert my eyes now. All past memories flashed in my mind.. Her smile, her words, our visits, her astonishment when I had proposed her, the kiss.. her tears, her backing away... She broke the eye contact between us just like that night.. and turned towards the girl beside her, she was saying something. Shruti looked at me again, I knew this time she hadn't forgotten me. I was more than happy to find her moreover in the same class. Inspite of me, signaling her to sit in front of my sit she went to another bench.. I know she's angry but I will fix it. Soon our professor entered and class started though I couldn't concentrate on whatever he was saying I only waited for the class to end. As soon the class ended I excused myself from my friends and got out of class. I saw she and her friend were walking towards downstairs.
"Shruti... wait" I called out.
