THE EFFECTS OF MARIJUANA hit me harder and harder with each step I took. I made my way towards the cafeteria trying to find Carl. I spotted him and noticed him sitting with a few of his friends. We made direct eye contact and I waved him over towards me.
He got the signal and raced towards me. What felt like hours was minuets.
He faced in front of me and smirked.
"Yes Lil Mama," he asked playing with his tongue in his mouth.
"I'm throwing a party tonight, come," I demanded.
He looked up at the ceiling as if he was thinking.
"Ight," he responded.
I looked into his eyes and I saw his eyes concentrate on something, my eyes.
"Are you high or something?" He asked grabbing my hand.
"A little," I said laughing.
"Look, I'm gonna skip the rest of the day and set up. See you at 9," I said and kissed him on the cheek.
He looked stunned but then turned around and sat back down.

Kyle wasn't home yet. I have never thrown a party and the closest thing I got to was Carl's. I reached at the top of the cabinet and grabbed bowls. I filled it with stale chips and set out a bunch of cups.
I plugged my phone into the Bluetooth speaker and played my "party playlist."
I walked into my room and picked out an outfit. It was a sleek black dress with a laced up top part revealing my chest.

I grabbed febreeze and sprayed the house and straightened up a little bit.
People started rolling in at around 8:50. People brought beers and other substances and lied them down on the table. Lots and lots of people were here. I downed a few shots, and sipped on beers.
I patiently waited for 9. At 9:01 sharp Carl rolled in with a box of booze. I smiled when I saw him. He walked towards me and my lips attached to his.
"It's not even 10 and you're already drunk," he said.
I laughed and pulled him towards the dance floor. I greeted people and downed more and more drinks.
The world was starting to get blurry but that's how I liked it.
Whoever said alcohol doesn't solve your problems was a cop. (this is totally a piece of characterization I don't promote or condone underage drinking or alcoholism behavior, this is strictly for entertainment!!)
Carl and I split and I checked the time and it was 11:23. Alcohol does make the world stop.
I drifted through the crowd and spotted the girl from earlier today.
"Bleacher girl!" She said laughing.
"It's actually Hadley but glad you could come," I yelled over the blasting music.
"Kristy," she said.
We talked for awhile and she signaled for a smoke. We made our way outside and lit up a joint. I hit it a few times and felt it instantly. Alochol and weed is never a good mix. We then decided to meet up later. I looked for Carl and saw him talking to someone.
The alcohol didn't really help my vision but as I got closer I could tell it was a girl.
Jealous, I walked faster.
He awkwardly stood there while the girl laughed and placed her hand on his chest.
My blood boiled and I pushed her away.
"What the fuck?" I yelled at her.
She faced me and there and behold it was Dominique, but a much blurrier version.
She pushed me back.
"What the fuck bitch," she yelled spilling her drink on me.
That's when I swung. I decked her right in the face. She held her face but then swung back. She hit me in the eye. And I jumped on her, knocking her over. A crowd form. Our names cheered throughout the crowd. I felt strong hands drag me off and I started flailing my feet like a little kid throwing a fit.
Carl held me back as I shouted a various amount of words at her. He sat me down in a corner, and I rocked back and forth.
I heard a loud voice through the crowd. The voice made people scatter out the door. I didn't know what it said or what it did I couldn't even hear. It was like I was alive but just existing. Carl's lips moved but I heard no sound. I blinked slowly.
There was Kyle with a furious face.
