I walked around the hall until I reached my next class. For my luck she wasn't in there but the bitches from yesterday were. They snickered as I took a seat. I slowly nodded off and was awoken to the sound of a blazing bell. My eyes jolted open and I came to my senses. I rubbed my eyes and grabbed my books.

"Ms. Josh," my teacher Mr. Malix said.

I huffed and headed towards his desk.

"Take a seat," he said gesturing to the desk. I calmly sat down and placed my hand on the side of my face.

He handed me a paper. I looked at it and ran my fingers down the page.

"You're failing this class. I spoke with your other teachers and they all are concerned about your academic performance," he said

I scoffed.

"I am willing to work with you after school but, is something bothering you? Any family problems I can help you with?" He asked placing his hand on his lap.

"No sir, my at home life is fine. I'm just a little stressed, but I promise I'll try my best to bring it up," I said with a fake smile.

"All right good. You can go now," He said handing me a late slip.

The minute I walked into class all eyes were on me. I handed the teacher the late slip and took a seat at my desk.

I tried my best to pay attention. I looked at what she was doing and it didn't make any sense. We were just learning about human anatomy and now constellations? My eyes fidgeted in the back of my head while I tried to analyze the materials she was giving. She handed us worksheets and I took one look at it and it was like reading in a different language.

I quickly filled the paper out trying my best on it. Once time was up, she started calling on people to give the answer.

"Question 7... Hadley!" She said pointing towards me. The whole class looked at me and I looked at question 7 and noticed I didn't finish it.

"I didn't finish it," I stated.

She lifted her glasses up with her finger and said, "Why not Hadley? I gave the class 20 minutes. Everyone finished but you. Don't expect special treatment."
I looked at her like she had 6 heads.

"I never asked for special treatment," I spoke with a slight attitude. 

"Then why didn't you get this finished Ms. Josh?" She asked.

"Because I didn't understand any of it!" I said raising my voice.

The class was dead silent. You could hear a pin drop.

"We have been going over this for weeks and now you want to bring this up! We can't slow down just because you asked," she said and turned to the board and continued her lesson.

"Fucking Bitch," I mumbled under my breath. I was furious. How dare she think I would like special treatment?

"Ms. Josh what was that?" She asked putting her hand on her hip.

"Fucking bitch," I said looking into her eyes.

"Office. Now!" She screamed. Her face turned a dark crimson color and she went ape shit.

"By the way party at my house tonight at 8. Text me for details!" I yelled self-advertising. I gathered my stuff together and right as I went to leave of course I flipped her off. I was so extra.

Did I really want to go to the office? Nah.

I hurriedly sneaked past the security guards and ran outside. Plan was to sit out here the whole day.

I sat under the bleachers and lit up a cigarette. The chemical made me instantly relaxed.

"You come here to escape too?" I heard a female voice say.

I found her sitting a few feet away from me smoking a joint. I walked towards her.

"Yeah," I said taking a seat next to her.

She handed me the joint.

I took it from her and puffed on it. I coughed after inhaling so much.
"You're cool I like you," She said.

"Thanks I like you too," I said feeling the marijuana effects.

The bell signaling lunchtime rung and I knew I had to go meet up with Carl.

"Hey, I am having a party tonight you should come," I said and took out a piece of paper. I scribbled the info on it and handed it towards her.

As I was walking away I felt a bag hit me. I looked down at my feet and saw a zip block of a few ounces of weed. I took it and placed it in my pocket. I waved and headed towards lunch.
