Forgive Me , Maybe ?

Chapter 9

I ran down the stairs in the speed of light . stopped in front of the door ,looked for my keys and phone. and walked out with an disinterested look on my face . I stopped in front of the car and stared at him . He had the audacity to stare right back at me . Does he not know that when you are taking a girl out , you are suppose to open the door for them. I raised an eyebrow at him through the window .

In exchange he replied " you gonna get in  or what ?" with a slick smirk upon he's lips .

I rolled my tongue inside my mouth . Two can play at this game  I thought. I opened the door got in and slammed it loudly. I know how much he loves his car.

"Marla be careful !, this isn't your father's car , don't mess with my baby like that!"I heard him murmur an unbelievable under his breath. 

I opened it again and slammed it even louder while he was driving .  "Marla what the fuck ! who opens a car door while its being driven !"

"Me "  I responded turning to face him with a try me look . He stopped at a  red light and turned to face me ,he looked at my face and said  .  "oh so you wanna play !" He said with an amused look ,  Then turned back and started driving again .

"I don't know what you are talking about "I  replied turning around and trying to hide my smile . 

We arrived at the I-hop . I exited the car before him and went in .I went up to the front desk  and just as i thought the place was full , why do you people not cook at your houses got damn it.  The lady at the front desk said that  had to wait to get a table.
I turned around to go tell Shawn and saw him flirting with another girl with red hair . Well not flirting,talking but the girl was playing with her hair and giggling so that is flirting on my book .

I walked up to them and pushed her to the side with my shoulder ."babe they said that we'll have to wait to get a table ."I said with a smile on my lips .

He smiled back at me and said "well babe " exaggerating with the word babe. " I guess we will wait then , I was in the middle of a conversation with Eliza over there and you interfered which was very rude , so if you excuse me " he walked away from me towards her grabbed her hands and walked outside , with her giggling.

I was fuming , I was so pissed and embarrass . I could not believe he just did that . I mean , what did I expect , it's not like he wanted to go one the date with me , in a way I basically forced him , he did say he didn't want to date . Maybe him and I being together was just a pigment of my imagination .

He came back in and smiled at me "did we get a table yet "
"Um no can you take me home please "

"What , why ? Is it because of her , Marla we were just talking , I swear ". He said with a startled on his face Of course it's because of her you idiot I thought,
" umm no , I just change my mind about all this "
"Marla seriously, your being very petty right now , Eliza and I have a science class together, we were legit talking about what took place in class while I was out , since I wasn't there on Friday ."
"Shaw...." just as I started my sentence the Lady at the desk came to us and said that a table just opened up.

"Great Shawn replied, lead the way "he responded to the waitress with a smile that was not meeting his eyes . He grabbed my hand and dragged us behind her . We stopped in front of booth connected with the window . He waited until I entered and followed right behind me , the same side .

"You know you could just sit on the other side right . ".

" yes but no thanks "

"Why not ?"

"Because if I were to move you would leave "

"I would not , I said " with a giggle

" nope I don't believe you , I'm not moving "

" I'm serious " I replied with a smile .

" you promise" he said with a pout .

"Yes "

"Pinky promise "

"Yes Shawn ,now move " I said shoving him lightly, with a small laugh.

" I still can't moved , we didn't twist each others pinkies  " he said with a slight smile 

"Shawn!  how old are we five !?" I said in between  laughter   . we curled pinkies then he held on to mine's . 

"wait ! let me see your other hand " he said squinting his eyes with an accusing look.

I dropped my head to the side while staring at him . ''really,"

"yup" I sighted than open my other hand 

"happy" 

"yes, very "  he smiled widely at me than moved to the other side . "gosh ,such a child " i whispered under my breath 

"I heard that !" i laughed than the waitress .

"are you ready to order a drink ''

  she heard a yes from me and a no from Shawn .

"I always take the coffee  ,so I already know what i want ."

'' well then I'll just get some orange juice '' 

she wrote  on her notepad then said " alright in a couple I'll come back to take your order. "  then walked away. 

I started to look through the menu when i felt eyes on me . I looked up and saw Shawn quickly looking away . I went back to reading the menu when i felt him looking at me again .  I smirked than picked it up and covered my whole face with it .

''Don't do that'' he said slapping my menu down." don't hide your beauty  from me "  I felt my cheeks heating up. gosh Shawn do you want me or not? choose one.
