Morgan was humming as she walked into the choir room early Tuesday morning during choir. She set her stuff on the risers and gasped.
"Wow... this room looks so pretty Christmas-ified," she said to Kelsey. Kelsey giggled.
"The prep group set this all up last night. It was a lot of work, almost took the whole practice," Lily said from behind her. Morgan jumped slightly.
"Oh, Lily I didn't see you. Hey, tonight is a joined practice for us by the way. I don't know why, but I overheard Kellie talking to our choreographer, Jon, about it," Morgan said to Lily.
"Class settle down. As you can see, the choir room is decorated for Christmas. Tonight I require all those in show choir, no matter the group, to be at the practice tonight, from 4-5, then the normally scheduled Tryverg Mane Stage practice will continue. Jon and I have a special announcement for both show choirs, band, and crew members. Now let's begin the choir lesson. It's Christmas time, so we will be singing Christmas carols for the concert, let's begin!"

As Morgan walked into the choir room for show choir at 4, she saw that almost everyone was already there.
"Am I late?" Morgan asked Ashley, who unmediated shook her head.
"Not at all. Everyone else was early," she said giggling. Morgan rolled her eyes, and set her backpack behind the risers.
"Alright everyone, there are a lot of people in here, so if everyone could please not talk, it would make everything much simpler. Thank you," Kellie said. The room quieted down, and everyone sat down onto the risers. Most of them had to squish on the risers, but some stood on the sides. Morgan and Ashley stood on the sides as they listened to Kellie.
"Alright, so it is that time of the year again, and Christmas is right around the corner! So, to celebrate Christmas, the show choirs, band, and crew, team together to have a big Secret Santa party! No one is allowed to spend over $15, and the giver is to remain secret, so that others can guess who it is!" Kellie explains. The room fills with excited whispers as they discuss who they want to gift to.
"Quiet down. Alright, now, if everyone could write their name on half a sheet of paper. Then we will put all the papers in this hat here," Kellie said holding a hat up.

After everyone had their name written on paper, Kellie shook the hat to mix the names better.
"Alright, girls come up first, and then the guys, and form a line, everyone will get one name," Kellie said.
As Morgan got her name she smirked. Piece of cake... She thought as she saw the name. In perfect lettering was the name "Gavin McCoy".
