Here you go, part 2! There actually is going to be a third part, since this all happens right before and during the time when Morgan performs. The next chapter will occur during the same timeline, but it will occur right after Ashley says "Good luck MoMo!" So be prepared for a bit of backtracking.

Morgan sat at the table during lunch, and slowly picked at her food. Kelsey shook her head at Morgan.

"Morgan, eat, you need your strength, and you leave in 35 minutes to sing," she said eating her food. Morgan sighed.

"I'm not that hungry," she said.

"You should eat though," she agreed. Morgan frowned.

"Hey," Sam interrupted. "If you're nervous because of solo comp, don't be. I know it seems hard now, but once you start singing, everything gets easier. I felt the same way you feel right now when I first did solo comp as a freshman."

"Well, I am really nervous," Morgan said. Not long after, a crying Arianna sat at their table next to Sam. The others looked at her with concern and disbelief.

Sam turned his head to her. "Hey hey hey...What's wrong?" He asked worriedly to her.

"Abygale hates me now, I don't know what I did wrong," she said crying. Morgan gave the others a strange look before patting her head gently.

"It'll be okay, Arianna. Don't worry about her," she said. Arianna looked up at them all, her eyes filled with tears.

"Sorry, I didn't know who else to go to, I know you all are very accepting of people. Especially you, Sam," she said, giving him a weak smile.

Sam's face turned a little pink. "Uh...Thanks," He said hesitantly with a small smile. Arianna smiled back, tears still streaming down her face.

"So what did you do that makes Abygale hate you?" Gavin asked.

"I told her to grow up, after I said that being at the top is not as important as being a friend to me," Arianna answered. Gavin shook his head. Morgan sighed and pushed her food away. Ashley shook her head, pushing Morgan's food back to her.

"I don't wish to be your mother, but eat!" She exclaimed, slightly annoyed. Arianna looked surprised.

"Wow, that seems a little harsh," she said, taken aback. Ashley giggled.

"I can say that to her, cuz we are super close," she explained. Arianna nodded slightly before pushing her hair back, her mint streak still bright as ever. Abygale walked over to their table.

"Hey Arianna, why are you sitting at this table of losers?" She asked, snotty like. Arianna looked up at Abygale with tears still in her eyes.

"Because you said that being on top is more important than friends," Arianna responded. Abygale laughed.

"Come on Arianna, stop joking around with me," she said.

"Sorry, but the queen has spoken," she said standing. Abygale laughed.

"Wow, you actually thought Arianna would be your friend? Ha! You really are dumber than you look," she said still laughing. Arianna laughed as well, but it wasn't as harsh as before. She looked at Sam, who shot her a glare. Arianna looked like she was going to cry, before she turned and followed Abygale to her table. Morgan shook her head.

"Well that was a bust," she said. "I thought Arianna had changed." Gavin looked at Arianna, who appeared to be trying not to look back at them.

"I think she has, she just is afraid to leave Abygale. Hasn't anyone else been afraid of something, even though they knew it was probably the right thing to do?" Gavin asked the group.
