Chapter 14

Tris P.O.V
It's Friday night. Today I am going out with Christina, Will and Four. Haze also seems to be going somewhere.

"Where are you going wearing that, sundress?" I ask pointing to her blue dress which stops at her knees.

"Where are you going wearing those black jeans and white, flowy shirt?" She said mimicking me.

"I asked first."

"I am going out with, Gus."

"So you are going on a date?"

"Hey, don't push it. It's just an 'outing'. By the way, where are you going."

"I am going out with Will, Christina and Four."

"Really on a double date?"

"No, it's just dinner."

"Okay, I think I must go. It's almost time. Have fun." She said going outside.

"You too." I shouted and texted Christina.

Me- Where are you?😡
Christina- I am at Navy Pier Beach.
Me- I thought you would pick me.
Christina- Oh I forgot sorry. You can come by youself😆😅
Me- Fine.

I left my apartment and went to Navy Pier Beach. It was empty and stars sparkled like glitter on the surface of the sea. Warm wind touched my skin.

I saw Will, Christina and Four not far for me. I ran towards them waving my hand and they weren't LOOKING!. When I reached I was out of breath and my legs were aching.

"Hey, you look a little out of breath." Christina sees me.

"Yeah.......I have........been.......running to......come here." I said catching my breath.

"Will, can you place the blanket right here so we could sit." She said pointing beside me. "And also set up dinner for us."

"Right, Four would you mind helping me?" Will said and they both started to place 4 glasses and 4 plates.

Then, they both placed sandwitches, orange juice, pasta and Apple tart. We all sat down to eat. Everything was full of flavour. "Who made this food? Let me guess..........Four?"

"Yeah he did. He is such a good cook." Will said. Four just smiled.

Soon my stomach was full and everything which was laid was finished. I got up and said,"Guys, I am just going for a stroll." And walked along the sea.

After sometime, I sat down on the sandy ground as such that the cool seawater touched my feet. The environment made me drowsy it was very peaceful and soothing. Then, I heard footsteps, I knew it was Four. I didn't look until the figure sat down beside me.

"I knew you were coming." I said looking at him with a small smile.

"How did you know?" He said.

"Just a guess," I said looking at the horizon. "Doesn't the dark sky lits up with so many stars?"

"Beautiful." Is all he says.

"The sky?" I said looking at him with a queer face.

"No........you." I laughed. He gave me a really confused look.

"Are you serious?" I look at his blue eyes to see if he's serious.

The next thing that happens is that his lips brush with mine. At one moment, I feel unsure of myself, but then I kiss him back. He whispers in my ear, "I am". I blush, then we just lie on the ground and stare at the sky.

After a few moments, I said," I think we must go. It's getting late." I lace my fingers with his and we both go to Christina and Will.

When we reach there we see that they both were kissing. A mischievous idea came in my mind and I told Four.

"I came prepared for this." He said pointing to the bucket hidden behind one of the rocks.

"Then, what are we waiting for?" I giggled.

Four filled the bucket with seawater and poured over them.

"What the HELL!" Christina yelled. I and Four laughed till our stomachs ached. They both were drenched from head to toe.

"Is there is a word named 'privacy' in both of your dictionaries," Will says.

"No, you should read our dictionary there are many words we don't have." Four said handing Christina and Will a towel.

"Wait, you came prepared." Christina said taking a towel to dry herself.

"Yes he did." I said still laughing.

"You both are such-" Christina started.

"Yeah we know" I said cutting her. "Now, can we go home?"

We all went to our homes except for Four who escorted me to my apartment.

"I didn't get to say it but I like you." He kissed me lightly and went to his apartment.

I went in and Haze was sleeping in her room. I wanted to tell her the events of tonight but then my head started to spin and I went to sleep.
