Tris P.O.V
I wake up to my phone ringing. I got up, silently trying my best to not wake up Four. I looked at my phone, it was Haze. I answered it.
"Good morning." I said.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY GOOD MORNING!" she yelled.
"Why are you yelling?"
"I am yelling because you had been missing from yesterday. Where are you?"
"I am at Four's house." And I told her the story from A-Z cutting the part where I followed her.
"You could have just messaged me that you were at his house. You know, I was worried because of you." She said.
"I am fine. I will be coming home by 10. Is that okay for you?"
"Yes it is." And she hung up.
I was hungry and Four was sleeping. I didn't want to wake him up as he was in a deep slumber. So, I made coffee for myself and Four, if by some miracle he woke up.
By the time, I finished making coffee, he woke up.
"Good morning. How are you doing?" I said handing him the cup.
"Fine, actually." He said.
"Good, because I am leaving" He stares at me. "If you want to know why. Haze called me and she was telling at me where I was. So to tell her I am fine I am going. But I will come to visit."
"Okay, bye." He said waving his hand.
"Oh, I forgot." I walked up to him and gave a peck on his lips.
"Thank you for my reward." He said smiling.
"You deserved it. Bye." I went out of his house and went home.
As I entered, I saw Haze sitting on the couch, looking at her lap. She was upset.
"Hey, Haze. How are you?" I said smiling towards her.
"Thank God. You are here." She said embracing me. "I was waiting for you. I need to tell you something."
"First, tell me did you liked, Caleb?" I asked.
"No, well he was just like my brother. Why are you asking all of a sudden?" She said.
"It just came in my mind so I asked." I lied.
"I need to tell you that-" She was squealing.
"You are in love, right?" I said cutting her off.
"How do you know?"
"You were smiling so brightly, sang beautifully, curtsied really politely and holding hands in class. So yeah all this shows that you are in love." I said without thinking.
Silence filled the room. Haze was shocked and was frozen in her place. SHIT! Beatrice you just blurted out everything. Didn't you think twice before saying.
"How did you know all of that?" She asked in a low voice. But she wasn't angry.
"Umm.............I followed you in school." Well done, Beatrice. Well done! Here is your certificate for being the most curious person on Earth.
She was about to say something. When I said, "I was worried okay. You were acting strange. It's not my fault".
"I forgive you for following me in SCHOOL. I just wanted to tell you that I-".
"Kissed Gus. Yeah, I know that." Another moment of silence for Beatrice who again blurted out everything.
"Why are you Little Miss Curious?" She said.
"I don't know. There is only one way to shut my curiosity." I said holding up one finger.
"And that is?"
"You don't need to hide anything from me, please. And I know you are hiding something from me."
"Yeah, I just wanted to tell you that Gus has invited Four, you and me to spend the holidays in the mountains with his aunt."
"Really, that's so cool. Wait I have to tell Four." I took out my phone and messaged:
Me- Hey, I have a message for you.
Four- What is it?
Me- Do you have any plans for the holidays?
Four- No😧.
Me- Great, I invite you to spend the holidays with me, Haze and Gus in the mountains.🗻
Four- I accept your invitation.
Me- Thanks. Bye. Love you😘
Four- I love you too💖
"He is also coming. When do we leave?" I said excitedly.
"This Friday." She said smiling widely.
"This is gonna be so much FUN!" I shouted.
