SKIP TO THE DAY OF THE PROM
Today, is Prom night. So it means 2 hours of shopping with Christina. We went to this shop which sells really cute dresses.

She gaves me a huge pile of clothes to try on. When I wear my first outfit and come out of the trying room, Christina stands with Haze behind her.

"How does it look?" I said.

"No I don't think purple is your colour." Christina said. I look at Haze and she said,"She is right."

One by one, Christina would say something and Haze would support that statement.

At last, we all agreed on this dress which was white. It was casual, sleeveless and stopped at my knees. It had a black lace wrapped around its waist and a black bow on the side.

I and Christina went home to get ready as it was almost 7. I wore my dress and Christina did my make-up. I left my hair hanging loosely down my back.

I looked myself in the mirror. I looked really fabulous. I really wished Haze was here and we both would got to this prom together. Nevertheless, as she would say I went with Christina.

When we reached their the whole school was lighted up. We went to the school hall where Miss Tori makes special announcements. The whole room was lighted up, the floor was like a lake as if you could clearly see your reflection on it. People were talking and drinking juice.

Suddenly, there was pin drop silence because Miss Tori as usual had to make an announcement she was wearing this red dress which touched the floor and  she was wearing a red rose on her head, "Welcome! Teachers and students to prom night. Let the party begin." That's when the music played and everyone started dancing.

I was standing in a corner as I watched everyone dancing as gracefully as a swan. "May, I have the first dance." Four said bowing before me and offering his hand. He was wearing a suit.

"Yeah, sure." I said taking his hand. "Late again."

"You know Chicago traffic." He said when we reached the middle of the dance floor. The first song was slow. The instruments used were violin and a piano. The song created this peaceful and romantic environment.

"I don't know how to dance." I whispered.

"I'll teach you." He whispered. He positioned his hands on my waist and said,"Now you need to put both of your hands behind my neck." I did what he told me to do. "Now follow my lead," I looked down at his feet to capture the movement. He moved them his feet and said,"One, two, three."

"One, two, three. Got it." I said moving my feet.

"Let's start. One, two, three". He said and we both started dancing.

"Who taught you to dance?" I said.

"My sister. She actually loved to dance and went to dance class every weekend. She used to practice with me." He said smiling.

"Did she do this." I said stepping on his foot, delibrately.

"Yes she did." He said flinching.

It was not long when the romantic music changed to pop music. Everyone danced as if it was a disco.

"I want to show you something."Four said, taking my hand we both went out of the hall and into the school garden.

We both sat on the bench. It was pitch black night lighted by the moon and infinte number of glittering stars.

I was looking at the sky when something small shined at my eye. I looked at Four he was holding a black box in it was a diamond ring. "I wanted to say that.........." He said.

"That." I said smiling.

"Will you marry me?" He said nervously.

"Yes." I said squealing. Haze was standing behind Four she was smiling and said,"I knew this day would come. Now may God give you a happy life". Tears welled up in my eyes.

"Tris!" Four tapped my shoulder. "What were you thinking?"

"I was thinking that should I call you Four or Tobias?" I said blinking the tears away.

"It's nice to hear my name again." He said.
