"I'm coming, bae, could you stop calling?" I asked him annoyed through the phone.

What was so fucking important that he wanted to talk about and it couldn't wait for after I've studied? I had a big maths test the next day and I hadn't read a thing.

"Just come here fast." he spoke before he hung up on me.

I let out a sigh as I put my phone in my back pocket. I was almost there.

Hanseol and I were going to meet up at a park near his house. on my way there,I passed by the church and it was no surprise to me to see the Pastor's son coming out of it.

Once he saw me he froze.

We had never had more than a simple "good morning" and "hey" conversation, although he was in my math class since we were freshmen. He was always one of the best students in his classes as I'd hear every year.

"Oh hey Arian-"he tried to greet me,kind of awkwardly.

"I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry." i cut him off, without even coming to a halt to face him properly.

Within minutes, I arrived at the park and saw my boyfriend of six months standing under a tree.

I quickly walked up to him and stood before him, his tall figure towering over me.

Hanseol was one year older than me but we were both at the forth year of high school as he had missed a school year due to an accident he had had when he was young. He was handsome, brunette with brown eyes and a nice structured body. See, he was in the basketball team.

Other than that, he was useless. It only took people one small talk with him to understand that he didn't use his brain a lot but he was rich and would always buy me food so I considered him a keeper.

"So?" I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "What was so important that you had me running here when I've got much more serious matters to deal with?"

He let out a pathetic smirk that had me getting irritated as seconds went by.

"Oh honey, that's a serious matter too." he spoke with a sarcastic tone in his raspy voice.

"Which is?"

He cleared his throat and made sure to lock eyes with me.

"I want us to break up."

I stood there for a minute that I bet seemed like a century for him. I had my blank face on and breathed heavily as I tried to calm my nerves down.

"You called me. Here. FOR THIS?"

Hanseol seemed confused as he took a few steps back.

"What did you want me to do, Ari? Tell you through the phone?" he protested.

"I'd fucking rather you did!" I yelled.

I pulled my phone out of my jeans pocket and plugged in my earbuds.

"Now if you excuse me, I've got a damn test to study for!" I turned my back on him and made my way towards the nearest bus station.

I reached home faster than I thought I would, only twenty minutes later. I used my keys to get in as I didn't know whether my mum was there or not.

Unfortunately for me, she was there and started scolding at me the minute I set foot in the house.

"Arianna! Where have you been?!? Don't you remember you have to study?!? If you don't get a good mark on this test, you'll be grounded young lady!"

"Yeah right!" I huffed as I climbed the stairs up to my room.

I slammed the door shut behind me, threw my heavy backpack on the wooden floor and jumped on my bed.

How could I be so careless and let Hanseol break up with me? I should've been the one to do that, not him!

I groaned at my stupidity as I made an effort to stand up again. My beloved bed felt so nice but guess what wouldn't feel nice.

Being grounded.

With that as my motivation, I spread my books all over my desk and forced myself to solve a few simple equations. However, I discovered I was so bad at it that I couldn't even do that.

I sighed as I hid my face into my palms.

"I'm doomed."
