Chapter 7: Wedding dresses

When Friday came I could barely move out my bed. The beaming sun rays shun intensively on my face forcing me to move away into some shade. "Mikasa" I heard Levi say when he entered my room.

I let out an agitated groan really wanting to sleep.

I been up studying for a long time up till 1:30 in the morning. I should really limit my studying time.

I probably was up because number two Jean was texting me. We didn't stop till he had abruptly fallen asleep on me while I waited for a reply.

"Mikasa" Levi shook me. "I'm up" I groaned while laying myself up and rubbing the tiredness out of my eyes.

"What is it?" I asked slowly rising my eyes to meet his.

"Your not going to school today" he says making me lay back down in relief.

"Thank the Lord" I sighed ready for another 3 hours of sleep. "Get up" he says pulling me up again. "Why! I wanna sleeeep" I groaned.

"It's Friday remember? You said you would go dress shopping with Petra" he stated.

Oh crapbaskets.

"Can I just get a few more minutes of sleep?" I asked.

"No now get up and look pretty and please don't embarrass me while you two are out alone" he pleads. "Your not coming?" I asked while I stood up.

"I have to work plus Petra wouldn't let me come anyway because she doesn't want me seeing the dress so get ready" he says then leaves my room.

I exhaled heavily not really wanting to go because I felt lazy and tired but i didn't want to make a bad impression on Petra so it's whatever.

I changed into a summer pink knee length dress and some golden sandals. It wasn't a lot but it wasn't to little either.

I applied a white jacket then brushed my teeth, did my hair and put some lip gloss on.

Levi was already gone so I had to make myself breakfast while waiting for Petra to come pick me up.

I turned the news on and grabbed my plate of toasted creamed bagel and sat on the couch.

I took a big bite out of it.

My phone vibrated and I opened it seeing Jean has texted me. A big smile grew across my face.

Jean: Good morning beautiful, hope you have an amazing day, hopefully I get to see you today (: love you

Thing was me and Jean weren't even dating yet he called me cute names like pumpkin, beautiful or cutie.

I'm glad he didn't call me those cringy words like babe or whatever like Eren does.

He even says I love you and it wasn't uncomfortable at all.

He was just so perfect! It makes me think "maybe living here wouldn't be such a bad idea after all" I'm sure Eren can find happiness without me intervening anyway.

Mikasa: good morning Jean! I love you two and I'm sorry but I won't be able to go to school today, I'm dress shopping with my aunt

Jean: I'm okay with it love, is your aunt getting married?

Another thing I love about Jean is that he is so interested in me. He always wants to find out more.

Mikasa: Yep! She's so excited

Jean: well tell her I said she deserves it and should be happy (:
