Chapter 6: Distance

"Makoto...This isn't what it looks like."
I shockingly say.

Makoto suddenly grabs a hold of Sousuke and punches him in the face. I see Gou and the guys come towards us and Gou started yelling at both Makoto and Sousuke. Rei tried to pull Makoto away but Makoto shoved him to the wall so he wouldn't get in the way. All I did was stand there. All I did was stare. All I could do was do nothing about it. What was going through my brain right now, that made me not function at all? From the side of me I see a familiar maroon haired pass me swiftly and suddenly breaks Makoto and Sousuke's fight.

"Do you guys know fighting at a karaoke bar isn't a good thing, your causing a commotion!"

He looked at me this time and grabbed a hold of my wrist.

"Thanks for taking Aya out, I'm bringing her home. You all go home, too. Especially you, sis!"

I was now dragged by Rin out of all people.

"Let go, Rin! I need to speak to Makoto!"

"Well obviously, I'm not letting you this time."

I looked at him wide eyed. People along the streets were staring at us both, since he was dragging me away from everyone just to go into his car and head home. We got to his place and he finally let go of me, locking the door behind him. He lightly smacked the back of my head.

"Why is it that, you're causing problems with the group? Ever since I met you, shit comes up."

I was silent and just walked away from him. He followed. I head to my room and he grabs my wrist.

"Answer me! Don't just walk away!

I pushed him.

"It's none of your business!"

I was angry this time but he towered over me and pushed me into my bed. He grips both my hands, and pinned them above me.

"I don't mean to do this, but I'm going to do this the hard way! Get a grip of yourself!"

I looked at him.

"Do you see what's going on around you?! Is this why you stayed away from our group so you wouldn't start a big commotion, especially between Makoto and Sousuke?! Is this why Haru wanted you to not speak to him?! Why do you think the woman who had texted me wanted you out of the way?!" You're screwing everything up!"

I tried to budge my way out not listening to a word from him. Rin was pissing me off this time.

"Excuse me?! I haven't done anything wrong! Matter in fact, you shouldn't push yourself into my personal life. How was I suppose to know Sousuke was around?! I didn't mean for both Makoto and Sousuke to fight, so I'm sorry I screwed shit up! It just happened, let it go!"

Rin held onto me tighter.

"Sousuke still loves you, you fucking idiot!"

"Well, I apologize but I love Makoto!"

At the moment, we were both quiet. Sousuke was still in love with me when he has a fiancé? I even screamed out my own feelings as well.

"If you love Makoto, why can't you just confess to that man already so Sousuke can move on with the woman I love."

I went wide eyed. His grip on me was loose and he sat on the bed. I got up and continued to look at him.

"Rin..I'm sorry.."

"It's not your fault. It would be easier if all this mess was just fixed up. I come back from Australia, to make sure everything was fine with everyone. Unfortunately, it really doesn't look like it, since now your in the picture."
