Chapter sixteen, just don't make a scene.

   I walked into the shop with most of my girls. Yammy, my mom, Maddie, Jess, and Tiff. Lily hasn't flown up from America yet and Alex is grieving with Oli. The wedding is in a month  so we finally decided I have to go get a dress. Joel is out with the guys getting stuff like the cake ordered and watches with their names engraved in them. I don't really know, guy stuff. We walked in and sat in a room that the kind lady showed us to. She grabbed my hand and brought me into a changing room.

     "So honey, what are you looking for in this dress," she kindly asked me. I pulled up some pictures Alex sent me a while ago with a bunch of different things that she said would look nice. The lady, her name Margret, nodded and started looking for a dress. She had me follow her so I could find one that I loved. "This is only my first day on the job so sorry if I'm a bit bad" she told me, I smiled and told her its alright. My budget is 10,000 so I hope she can find what I'm looking for.

     " Who made those dress dress designs for you" she asked me, trying to keep up a conversation. "Oh, my brides maid Alex. Alex Terrell." I smiled as she pulled a couple dresses down. "Really? What a small world. Alex babysat my kids  on the flight over here." she laughed. It really is surprising  that I'd meet one of Alex's friends.  She took me into another room that had veils and belts and accessories. She handed me the dresses and picked up a box.

   "I'm not allowed to let the customers know about this place, but any friend of Alex is a friend of mine. Plus I owe her my life for babysitting" she said, throwing some things into the box. We soon walked back and she helped me into a dress. "Wait I didn't even give you my sizes"  I told her and she laughed. "I don't need a size, when you've worked in this business for as long as I have you just know"

    After she helped  me into it  I walked out to the girls. The dress is absolutely gorgeous. It has a sweetheart cut on top and is strapless. The top is completely white and then it has two lined meeting at an angle just above my hips. The bottom is light grey and is followed by a 6 foot train. I walked out to show the girls and they had mixed feelings. The conclusion we came to is that its the first dress so we just need to see some more options.

   The next one was more informal. It was held up by a flat, baby pink piece of fabric that crosses in the front and wraps around my neck. The top was a little darker shade of pink  that flowed down to my knees and on the way down ombres into a lighter pink. The skirt parts cut was a little flowey but still somewhat tight. I decided to show this one to the girls and they rejected it. Like hardcore.

    The next one she had me try on was perfect. Its sleeves where grey mesh\fishnet and the top was an extremely light, almost white, pink cut into a sweetheart. Then it went down just like the first one and spread into the skirt. The skirt split at the middle of my thigh and the front went straight down, while the back flowed into a train. It was a darker pink but still pretty light. Margret pinned a shiny red heart thing at the dip of the top. I don't even need verification to know that this is the one.

   I walked out to the girls and they all agreed on this one. "Hey Margret, where's the veil?" Maddie asked. Margret explained that she wants to find a special veil, like the ones Alex drew.  She said that she'll send it to us when she completes it because she wants to make it special. Apparently it's going to be light pink  and connected to a flower crown. I gave her my address and my mom paid for the dress (surprisingly its only 3k). We also invited her to the wedding, because of how close she seems to be with Alex.

      She said she's going to keep the dress and send it with the veil so that way Joel won't be able to see it. I love how she's thinking ahead like that. She's a nice person. Anyways we said our goodbyes after I got changed back into my normal clothes and we left.  Yammy, Jess and  Tiff all left to go home while me, my mom and Maddie decided to go out for dinner. We went to this small restaurant around where Oli and now Alex live.

     We all got burgers with fries and a milkshake for dinner. I know my mom has had it rough in the past so the fact that she's helping with the wedding is great. After we  all ate we split up and went our separate ways, I took a cab to my house while Maddie and my mom went home in Maddie's car. When I got home Joel still wasn't back so I grabbed buddy and headed up to my office. I got on Minecraft and began to film another video, because I need a few for while we're away.
 
     I mean the wedding will be in England of course, a little up north though. Its just me and Joel's honeymoon will be in France, and we plan to be away for a couple weeks. I filmed my video, then started editing. Buddy Nuzzled into me as I worked on my laptop so I petted his head. The little cutie. I pulled out the crisps I keep hidden under a pillow and ate them, considering editing  takes forever.

     When I was done I set a timer upload for the day we leave and shut my laptop. Then I heard the door close so I rushed down and greeted my fiancé Joel. He kissed me and handed me a bouquet of roses. "Awe Joel you're so sweet!" I gasped, taking them into the kitchen. "Me and the guys figured we might as well when we where in the flower shop" he told me walking into the kitchen. I put the flowers into a vase and smiled at him. "Why were you in the flower shop?" I asked. "Well I got all the flowers for the wedding arranged and someone will help us when we get to the place, but I also sent some to Alex as condolences for her cat." That's Joel, so sweet.  It wasn't long after that that me and him went to bed, buddy at the foot of our bed.
