Ilang linggo ang nakalipas ng matalo ko si Sean sa race namin ay nagsimula akong magparamdam kay G.
Well, there's no turning back and I got nothing to loose.
The only thing I'll loose would be G if I would stay being her bestfriend instead of being her lover.
Ang tanging mahirap pang sa ginagawa ko ay ang buksan ang mga mata ni G. Damn, if only I could kiss her so she'll realize I love her.
That our relationship would be beyond platonic.
I was busy staring at G while she was practicing her dance routine. Kasali kasi siya sa cheer leading team, of course with Aunt Aphrodite's decision. She couldnt say no. Maya maya lang ay naramdaman ko ang presensiya ni Josh, then he tapped my shoulder.
"Busy ogling at G my man?" Wika nito
I punched his shoulder playfully.
"Hell with you bruh." I answered
We laughed.
"Coach is looking for you Jas. Get your ass up." Sabi ni Josh sa akin
Tumayo na kami mula sa bleachers. I glanced at G for a sec and saw her looking at me.
I winked at her and she just raised her moddle finger as her response.
Oh god, Im inlove.
Tumatawang pumunta kami ni Josh sa courtside kung saan busy na busy si Coach sa pagta train ng mga freshmen.
Well, freshmen tryouts. Yknow. Early tryouts for Grade 7 students.
"Hey Coach." I said, trying to get his attention
"Jasper. Where are you? You should be training with this kids." Coach said making me and the Grade 7 students wince
"Sorry Coach." Was all I said
"Inaatake na naman ng sakit ng pag ibig si Jasper coach. Yknow, a sick puppy inlove?" Sabat ni Joshua
Coach smirked.
"Staring at Ms. Earnhart I see. Well, I'll let you slide for now. Just train this kids okay?" Wika ni Coach
"Roger Coach." I said saluting him
Hindi naman katandaan ang Coach namin. Infact, he's only 25 years old. I've had his background checked and learned that he was a military guy who happened to accept the job offer here.
He's handsome, pero syempre mas pogi ako.
Akmang aalis na sana si Coach nang biglang magsalita si Josh.
"Where you going Coach?" Wika nito
"I'm gonna see Ms. Simone your English Teacher. I believe we have a date." Sabi ni Coach half running
Kumaway na lang kami dito at natawa. Well, it looks like Im not the only one here who's darn smitten.
Tinignan namin ni Joshua ang mga estudyante.
"Call the gang. Tulungan niyo ako." I told Joshua
"No way, you're the Captain Jas. Kaya mo yan."he answered
"Ganon? Kahit ililibre ko kayo mamaya?" I bribed, alam ko naman ang mga takbo ng isip ng mga iyon.
Mga kuripot.
"On my way bruh, on my way." He quickly shot back
Tumakbo paalis si Jwhua sa amin, probably heading to the court where my friends are playing ball.
Tinignan ko ulit mga estidyanteng nasa harapan ko. I scanned them. Mga nasa 15 hanggang 20 na estudyante.
Tumayo naman sila ng tuwid ng makita nilang seryoso ako.
"Do you guys know me?" I asked
Sabay sabay silang tumango. Aww, cute little puppies. Hahahaha
"Really? Who am I then?" I said
"Jasper Dane Dacuno, Top 2 RC (Richest Clan), Right hand of Black Tetta, 10-A, Captain of the Basketball team and most of all youre inlove with your bestfriend." A boy answered
Saktong dumating naman ang kaibigan ko na ngayon nasa likuran ko. I quickly found the guy who dared to speak.
Linapitan ko siya at tinignan mula ulo hanggang paa.
The boy was handsome, fair skin, brown eyes, brown natural hair, tall but still kinda thin.
Tinignan ko muli ang mga kaibigan ko na nakangisi.
"I like this one. How did you know all of those?" I asked
"Well, it's essential to know who my competition is." He answered
Lahat kami ay nabigla sa sinabi niya. What the hell is he talking about?
"I like Georgina Sapphire Earnhart. If that's what youre asking." He continued.
What... the... flyin---
Bago ko pa matapos ang mura sa utak ko ay narinig ko na ang isa kong kaibigan na sumisigaw.
"Draide!! Ano na naman itong kalokohan na pinapasok mo?!" Sigaw ni Eduard
"Hey Eduard, you know that lil fella?" Tanong ni Aison sa kanya.
Napahilamos naman si Eduard sa kaniyang mukha gamit ang kaniyang palad
"Yeah, he's my brother. Draide Baylen." He answered
Lahat kami ay nalaglag ang panga. What the hell? Im gonna have a competition and worse, its gonna be Eduard's lil bro?
Sure win mga kaibigan. Sure win. Hahahaha.
"He likes G?"Hayram asked
"Yeah, akala ko nagbibiro lang siya. Heck! Ni hindi nga yan nagsasalita sa akin, few days after you guys dropped by in my pad, he started asking things about G. Didnt know he was serious." Mahabang paliwanag ni Eduard
Nakangiti lang sa isang tabi si Draide. Looking at his phone.
When I glanced at his phone. Fuck?! Wallpaper niya pa si G?! Stolen picture!
"What the hell?!" Akmang kukunin ko na sana ang cellphone ng kapatid ni Eduard ng itago niya ulit iyon sa kaniyang bulsa.
"Jasper." I know who's the owner of that voice.
Umatras ako sa bata ng ilang hakbang atsyaka hinarap si G.
She looked at me and then the kid beside me.
"Who's he?" She asked
"Oh? He's just no one. Don't mind this little ass---" naputol ang sinasabi ko ng sumabat si Draide
"Hello. My name is Draide Baylen. Brother of Eduard Baylen. 14 years old. Nice to meet yah." Sabi ng gunggong na iyon
G looked at the kid and accepted his hand. They shook hands and looks like G was impressed.
"Im Georgina Sapphire Earnhart. Only heir of the Earnhart Clan. Top 1 RC. 17 years old. Nice to meet you too." She answered
Draide smiled but G just gave him a very small smile.
"I like you." Draide said bluntly
Lahat kami natahimik. Is it just me or I heard the sound of guns being armed. Mga kinakasang baril?
But instead of shooting the boy G just laughed.
"You are way too young for me kid. I gotta go. Magpapractice pa ako ng routine. Bye guys." She said before turning her heels and started walking away.
"30 laps! Now!!!" Sigaw ko.
Walang nagawa ang mga bata kundi sumunod
Natawa naman ang iba kong mga kaibigan pagkaalis ng mga freshmen
"What are you guys laughing at?" Tanong ko
"Atleast my brother has the balls to tell his affection for G." Eduard said laughing
