"She's my mate!" Zane yelled causing both the man and I to widen our eyes. Mate? Is Zane Australian?
"No. That's not possible. She's-" Zane cut him off with a blow to the jaw.
"Get out before I throw you out of the pack." I took a step back from th...

"I can't Zane!" I whined looking at the cars in front of me.
"You don't like any of them?" He asked glancing back at the four gorgeous cars parked in front of us.
"I do, but I can't accept this." Zane turned towards Chris and whispered something in his ear. Chris raised his eye brows and nodded.
"Don't tell her the price either." Zane added out loud and I groaned. "Come on baby please just let me buy you a car." This is absurd. I had a car that's perfectly fine, a little outdated, but it still runs nicely. "This is your dream car Devina. I'm here to make your dreams come true Sunshine." He winked and pulled me into a garage. "Close your eyes." He whispered in my ear while covering my ears with his manly hands. Even his hands smell good. He walked me blindly forward then took his hands away. "What about this one?" I almost chocked on air as I looked at the car in front of me. It was a 2017 Nissan GT-R in a blue wrap. Each different angle you looked at it, the shade of blue changed. It had a small spoiler on the back and white trim and white leather seats inside. The headlights were changing color from red to purple. "We'll take it." Zane laughed at my reaction and shook hands with Chris. I was still gawking at the beautiful car in front of me.
A few hours later I was sitting in the car, driving down the road.
"I owe you a lot of kisses." I laughed pressing down harder on the gas pedal.
"Woah, let's start off slow first okay? You still don't know how to-"
"I drove your GT-R." I interrupted making Zane grin.
"Yeah but look what happened to that." My face reddened as I apologized again. "No it's okay, I'll just get a new one." I grinned, starting to slow down now.
"We can be matching!" He laughed too. Unlike most guys, Zane likes to match, he thinks it shows people that we're together. Then I remembered that we aren't actually together. I was an idiot and said to take things slow and when he asked to be together, I didn't answer him. Zane slowly looked at me and genuinely smiled.
"You do want to be together?" My heart raced, stupid mate bond. When I didn't answer him again and grinned even more. "Devina, Sunshine, tell me you want to be my girlfriend." I pulled into the parking lot of our apartment building and smiled at him.
"I want to be together. I want to be your girlfriend." He pulled me out of my seat and onto his lap.
"I love you." He said kissing my forehead. "I love you so much."
"Come on, this is uncomfortable!" I opened the door and got out, stretching my legs. Zane came our behind me and picked me up around my waist and twirled us around.
"I love my girlfriend!" He yelled out to the world, turning my face red in the process.
"Shh!" He lead us into the apartment and sat me down on the couch.
"I'm going to make dinner for my girlfriend!" He yelled again making me drop my head into my hands.
"I won't be your girlfriend if you keep doing that." I mumbled but of course with his supernatural hearing, he heard me and zoomed to where he left me.
"Take that back, Baby." He picked me up and moved me so I was on his back.
"Put me down!" I giggled as he walked us back to the kitchen.
"Take it back and I'll put you down." He started making dinner while I refused. "I love you." He randomly said making me grin.
"I love you too." I said pecking his cheek and watching him cook.
After we ate, and had some spaghetti, it was time for bed, but Zane had received a call from Forrest changing his plans of sleep.
"Come on Zane, please don't." He closed his eyes and grabbed the keys from the counter.
"I have to Devina. He said he'd hurt you if I don't go." He advanced closer to the door.
"Zane if you're here he can't hurt me!" Zane opened the door and sighed.
"If I'm with him, he can't hurt you." And with that he moved out of the door, making the heavy feeling in my stomach feel even heavier. "I love you." He said before shutting the door behind him.
~Zane's POV~
The last thing I said to her was I love you. I kept picturing her face as I drove to where Forrest told me to. When I finally pulled up to the cemetery, I parked my car and got out. There were a group of people towards the middle of the graveyard so I made my way there.
"Where's Forrest?" I asked as I didn't recognize any of the men in the circle. They looked from one another and smirked, one of the bulkier men stepped forward.
"What did you think he wanted to do? Negotiate with you? Just chat?" The men laughed making my stomach drop.
"He's going after Devina." I just now realized. "He wanted me out of the way." My fists clenched as I looked back at the men. Something most people know is that I'm not just a normal werewolf. Since I'm the first Alpha, I'm special. I closed my eyes and focused on their corpses. When I opened my eyes back up, they were all lying in the grass. Dead. I hopped back into my car and rushed home. After a few minutes I growled and pulled over, I was faster in my wolf form than Devina's old car. I should have grabbed her GT-R keys. I cursed myself as I ran home.
"Devina!?" I yelled as I turned into my human form and ran into the apartment. I busted the door down and heard screaming. Her screaming. I rushed towards her screams. "Get away from her!" I yelled, pulling my gun out of the back of my pants and pointing it at Forrest's head. He had her pinned up against the wall, his dirty hands around her throat.
"You kill me and you'll never know what I know." He grinned looking back from and Devina.
"Let. Go. Of. Her!" I screamed at him, hoping he'll just back away. I was wrong. He pulled out a gun and pointed it at Devina's stomach. "Put it down. Now." He evilly grinned and pushed it in farther.
"In a few years your beloved girlfriend will be blessed with something, but it's not going to be like you guys. Devina's going to go through a lot of trouble for that little gift. You'll loose her. I saw her future. She doesn't have one after that. So cherish it while it lasts, because when you're little sunshine is-" I cut him off by putting a bullet through his head. Devina screamed, pushing the corpse off of her and running to me and into my arms.
"You're right. I shouldn't have left. I should never have left you. I'm so sorry." She sobbed even harder.
"I love you. I love you so much." She cried into my shoulder. "Don't leave me. Ever." I nodded, there was nothing else we needed to say to each other. She was in my arms, safe for now and I was with her. There was just a dark ominous cloud hanging over our heads. And that cloud was our future. Does Devina really not have one?
