Kono was released shortly after Amelia and Hunter reached the offices. Matilda was also released, seeing that she didn’t really know anything and David wasn’t really hurt, on 5-0's custody. Chin and Grover took the girls back to the HQ, Steve and Danny stayed behind in Hope they’d be able to have a word with Amelia.

“now that you got her I need you to explain to me what the hell is going on.” Said Steve, crossing his arms. David looked up at him and his partner, he nodded and motioned for them to follow him in his office. He closed the door and took a file from his desk, opening it in front of them. Steve and Danny watched as he left the pictures on the table one by one. The first one was of a dead body, than another, another and another and another until there were 5 pictures of random victims, half female and half Male.

“who are all these people?”
“her targets”
“no.” Danny shook his head “no. She’d never do that-"
“believe me detective Death can really change a person." He smiled “3 years ago Amelia approached CIA with the help of her new boyfriend and CIA Agent, hunter Wilson. She introduced herself as Catherine Stanford. The agency worked with her for a short time. She gave the information for high value targets. We gave her the resources to take them down.”
“if she worked for you when killing them why did you arrest her?”

“She made it look too easy. She had another target every other week, we started getting suspicious. I started looking up on her and found a bunch of interesting information- for starters her real name and identity but the real plot twist was her connection with Yakuza-"

He threw a photograph of Amelia’s mother on the table and one of her father’s “detectives I’ve spent half of my career looking into Noshimuri and his little kingdom. I’ve looked for the legendary hard drive ever since I was a rookie. I knew she must have had it, her father left it for her probably- I told CIA of my assumptions, I started asking questions and when she realized I was on to her she ran.”

“that still doesn’t explain why you have her locked up- these people she killed were criminals and CIA gave her the order-"
“these victims are not the criminals.” Smiled David “after she went rogue and CIA realized the kind of information she had in her hands they sent men after her.” He pointed at the victims “gentlemen these are agents. She killed them all on a mission gone wrong” He pulled more pictures out of victims “after that there was no stopping her. She turned to a ghost. A very deadly ghost. She took down targets all over the world, Italy, Greece, Russia.”

“what about the hard drive?”
“When the files got leaked we knew it had to be her-"
“I’m gonna stop you right there because this doesn’t make any sense. If she spent all these years undercover, working and taking down targets carefully why the hell would she leak the files now?”
“you wouldn’t believe the things people do for money.”
“no! Not her!” said Steve “this is insane-“
“she is the only one that had the drives and if they files were stolen from her like she says, she’s the only one that would know who took them. Let me make this clear for you, she is charged with identity fraud, obstruction of justice and the murder of 5 agents and every other person she put a bullet on after she went rogue but my favorite one is terrorism”

Danny tilted his head, narrowing his eyes “excuse me?”
“by now you already know these files don’t only hold information against criminals. There’s information about the government, CIA operations gone bad, undercover agents- half of it has already been released to the public- the wars that can begin out of this. Detectives We know for a fact that she’s the one that killed the five agents-“
“I don’t care about your facts! She’d never hurt innocent people.” Snapped Steve, throwing his hands on the desk. He held himself, tried not to make a bigger scene, he lowered his head “I wanna talk to her"
