I groan as I shuffled uncomfortably on what I thought was my bed. I rubbed my eyes to see me on the cold floor and looked up to see Karma sleeping on my bed.
I shook my head and began moving the insanely huge animal off my bed. But in return I got a kick to the face causing me fall back on the floor.
I ignored him and showered as well as changing into something more comfortable. I placed my leather wrist cuffs on which covered the faded claw marks from ages ago.
I walked out to see few crew members up probably meaning my father wasn't up yet making me smirk. I transported myself into his office and began my search.
His cabinets were filled with different treasures and maps. I just needed to find a way to get me and Karma back in that island, I would teleport myself, but I can't teleport through realms yet.
I've also wanted to find out more about my mother and as to why people still referee to me as the tailless mermaid. It has always aggravated me seeing as I've never been allowed near one or was allowed information about my mother.
Apparently it would hurt me so much I wouldn't be same, well that's what my father thinks of course. I searched through various cabinets and unlocked chests to find many treasures that were useless to my search.
After finding different selections of maps and empty rum bottles I kicked the nearest me in annoyance which was an old closet. I pulled on my hair while biting my lip to prevent my self from screaming.
That was until I heard a loud thud and crash from behind me causing me to yelp in surprise. I quickly turned the see the closet wide opened and a shiny item thrown across the wooden floor. The glistening intrigued me making me pick up the very light item.
I gasped seeing the very detailed and beautiful looking shells sprawled across the silver delicacy with breath taking pearls that surrounded them making the tiara or crown look more majestic.
"Woah" I let out silently. My finger traced over the the huge shell in the middle that was a creamy kind of color. I inspected more on the item until I felt my heart stop within seconds. My eyes widened even more as I saw a small engraving in the inside of the tiara with my..my initials? M.J
What the hell is that doing on there? Is this supposedly mine, but why would dad keep this away from me? Speaking of my father I heard heavy footsteps coming from the left making me lose my balance in the crown and dropping it.
I cursed again and snatched up the crown and closed the closet trying not to make a sound while kicking in some others things that fell out back in. I looked back to see the room a small mess, but it's not like he'll notice right?
My grip on the crown hardened as I then used my magic to teleport me back to my room which I then locked not wanting to get caught or told on. My hands turned red from my hold on the jewelry making the crown look more whiter.
The crown looked a perfect size for my head, but now my head is trying to remember from where I saw this. I do remember something familiar and feel something familiar while it's in my hand.
I stepped backwards not knowing what on earth I was doing until my feet stooped and I looked up to see myself in front of my mirror. I tilted my head in confusion until my eyes trailed down to the mesmerizing prize I had just found.
