"Why do you want to make it hard for yourself? For everybody else?"

Cay: Tom????

Thom: What? Do I look like a ghost to you? Excuse me!

Cay: *laughs* I was just shocked to see you here. Kanina ka pa ba?

Thom: *nods* Siguro mga 15 mins ago pa. While you were crying. *smirks* Alam mo, bully lang ako but I'm a good cousin slash friend. *smiles* Mind sharing it with me?

Cay: Why are you here muna??

Thom: Hmmm... *smiles* First, Tita asked me to talk to you. To put a little sense in your mind daw. Second, since I am your cousin first before LA's bestfriend, gusto ko malaman yung take mo on this thing. *looks at the baggage* So, you're really living with LA tomorrow?

Cay: Yes? Go home na Thom. Mommy's just paranoid because I'll be away for a while. But I'm okay. *sighs* I'm okay, right?

Thom: I'll leave if I want too. Besides andoon na sa guest room yung gamit ko. *laughs* We have the whole night to talk and sort things out. Since I honestly think you can't do it on your own. *smiles* Tita's not paranoid Cay. She just doesn't want to see you make a decision you might regret in the future. She doesn't want you to go away into something... or someone that everybody knows makes you happy... Everyone including LA and yourself. She doesn't want to see you leave tomorrow and come back as a different person. Full of regret, full of pain.

Cay: I'm not making any mistakes here, Thom. I'm going with LA because he needs me there. Its about time I choose to make him happy because for the past few months, that's what he was doing to me. Keeping my happiness in check. Ano naman yung konting time lang for me to repay his kindness. I'm happy Thom. I really am.

Thom: Are you hearing yourself?? *sighs* Your insane, Cay. You call that happy? You're crying yourself to sleep then the next day you're choosing the guy who did not made you cry but also did not made you truly happy?? For what Cay? You don't want to hurt LA? Ganon lang? How about yourself? Aren't you hurting, too??

Cay: I can handle myself Thom.. *smiles* I am no weakling. Besides, this is the right thing Thom. Choosing the lesser evil. At least I get to make someone happy at my own expense. Dba? Tsaka I'm sure there is a place in my heart meant for LA, natabunan lang because of Jeric's memories surrounding me..

Thom: Cay, you're wrong. This is not the lesser evil. What happened to 'Fight for your happiness eventhough the stakes are high?' Practice what you preach!

Thomas and I are not only cousins but really close friends. My age was a lot nearer than Axel but I prefer to call him Kuya since nasanay na ako. Besides, he doesn't mind because he has 5 more siblings calling him Kuya, so another one would not hurt him. And Axel's the serious, good boy type. Kuyang kuya talaga. When we were little, Thomas and I would go out and play, do stupid things while he stays at home doing school work. Yes, he freakishly look like a God like Thom but he is harnessing a nerd inside. *laughs* Next to Jeric, I consider Thom as my bestfriend. He even knows my feelings for Jeric and wasn't even surprised at all.

So ayun, Thomas and Arra were steadily dating for almost a year now. They are actually a cute couple, match made in heaven. They decided to keep their relationship a secret for their privacy. It was for Arra na rin since she would surely be overwhelmed by Thom's fangirls. And her family was a prestigious one. She was the only daughter of one of the richest man in the Phil. Kaya nga bawal yan madapuan ng kahit anong lamok eh. *laughs* I'm sure his parents wouldn't mind if they knew a Torres was dating their kid, but it was Thomas eh. A promising cager, a stereotyped 'playboy'. But Thom isn't like that. I know she loves Arra so much. Haaay. I dragged Thom out of his bed and we went to our grandparent's house in Batangas. Beach! *smiles*
