"Fuck you!" I scream glaring at my cousin
"You were having another dream. You were sweating and screaming I couldn't help it. Was it about him?" Alex asked with a concerned face . I just nodded
"Bre you have to do something about it. I know my parents aren't always home so they don't know about your dreams but you have to tell them. Dad had the same thing before he met mom."
"Please, please don't tell them Alex. I can get through them. I need time. That's all. Just go back to bed I'm fine"
He looked down for a second then nodded. As he reached for the door knob he stopped but didn't face me.
"You've been to doctor before and I know you hate them, but if your done trying then let me know before you do something please? I know you don't want to go back to your old self. How you were with him isn't how you need to be." Then he left...

I stayed up the rest of the night not getting very much sleep. It was the usual though. I've always had these dreams but coming back just made it worse.
Walking done the halls the next morning was hard. Considering I couldn't keep my eyes open I almost ran into half of the students.
"Whoa there. Don't you look beautiful today" Max chuckles as he holds me up straight.
"Y-yeah. I didn't really sleep sorry." I give him a small smile as he puts his arm around my waist to steady me as we walk to the cafeteria.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing just couldn't sleep"
"Was it the storm?" Yeah that and the nightmares.
"Yeah, I don't like sleeping alone in storms" I smile
"You know I live down the road right? I'll be there to help you sleep since I don't like storms either" he smirked
"Yeah sure" I laugh seeing the group already at a table.
"Hey cuz what took so long?" Alex ask then his eyes follow Max's arm making him smirk too
"I was studying all night" I mumble sitting between Max and Joey, it was the only seat left...
"Wow. Who knew someone as bad as you could study?" Josiah chuckles while I glare
"You know what? I'm not hungry I think I'll go to the library before class" I mumble standing up.
"I'll go with I need to get a book for English class anyway" max smiles standing back up with me and everyone eyes us.
I just smile and walk away with him by my side. Behind me I hear someone smack Josiah making him cuss.
"You don't need a book do you?" I ask once we are in the hall
"Nope just wanted to spend time with you." He grins
We enter the library and sit at the back. I don't bother taking out my books, instead I wanted to get to know this cute boy who is my best friends twin.
"Lets get to know each other" he beats me to it
"Ok, favorite color?"
"That's so basic" he laughs "but red all the way"
"Blue" I scoff
"They go good together" he smirks making me roll my eyes
"Favorite book? Not movie"
"Damn, how about inhuman"
"That's mine too!"I smile
"Right! I haven't read it in so long though" max fake pouts

We spent an hour before school started getting to know each other. He's pretty funny and nice. Don't forget cute...
Anyways, right now is after school and we are going to the park. Yes I finally agreed to go, only because max talked me into it. And I will try not to fight.
"See she's not here" max says getting out of my car as I follow. He and Selena road with me.
"She will soon" she mumbles
"Well, in the mean time come play basketball with me" he says giving me puppy dog eyes
"But I don't know how I only play soccer and cheerleading with gymnastics" I sigh looking down so I won't give into his cute face
"I'll teach you" he says making me look up to see him grinning but before I can reply he grabs my hand and intertwined our fingers then pulls me toward the court.
"Here hold it like this" he says grabbing my hands while putting the basketball between them. Then he walks behind me and puts his hands on mine.
"This is a bad idea" I mumble making him chuckle
"Then you just throw it like this" he whispers as I feel his breath on my neck. Max takes my hands and pulls them back and almost there he lefts go showing me when too. "Now try" he says backing away.
I do as he said and it hit the rim, but didn't go in.
"See I can't do it" I sigh.
"Yes you can just try again till you get it right" he says standing close to me so that our faces are almost touching.
"Y-yeah I'll try.." I mumble not taking my eyes off his and still not moving
"Okay" max whispers. I swallow breaking our trance and turn toward the net. I do exactly as before, except this time it went into the net.
"See perfect" max says wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me into his chest. I smile wrapping my arms around his neck hugging him back. It lasted a few seconds then we pulled away to see everyone awkwardly staring.
"You did it breezy" Alex smiles
"Umm.. yea I did but I think I'm done for today I'll sit with Selena as you guys play" i say as I see a group of girls getting out of a car
"Maybe we should sit with you guys for a bit" Alex mumbles seeing bitch face smile and walk towards us.
"Hi maxy" Andrea says putting her hand on his chest. He fakes a smile
"Hi Andrea." He grabs her hand taking off his chest and takes a step toward me making her glare.
"Boys. Hi nerd-bird" she smirks. Just as I'm about to pounce again, Max's arms go around my waist as he pulls my back into his chest
"She's not worth it baby" he whispers sending a shiver down my spine. I think he noticed because when I look up at him he smirks
"Don't call her that" nope it wasn't me that said this. It was my cousin... I'm shocked too and you can see it on my face
"Why you got a problem?" She smirks back
"Yeah I do. She's my friend and just because she works to get an education and she's smarter than you doesn't mean you can call her a nerd. That's like me calling you a bitch... oh wait everyone else does that for me" he smirks. She just stomps her foot and turns around walking back toward her car as her minions follow.
"Nice one cuz" I smile but I see a smirk on his face my eyes follow his too see Max's arms still around my waist. I just lean into them...
