Chapter 21 *Clueless*

Drew's POV

We're already in class. But my mind is occupied with something else.

How can my dad do that?? How can he do this to us?? Ano ba kasing pumasok sa kokote ng tatay ko?

"Huy sungit!" nabalik ako sa riyalidad ng tawagin ako ni Ynna

"Hmm?" ako

"Iniisip mo?" she asked

"Nothing, I'm just a little sleepy, that's all." I said

"Ahh okay. Oh, tara na. Umalis na si mam. Early break na daw." she said while fixing her things.

Inayos ko na rin yung gamit ko. After that, kinuha ko yung bag nya at ako na ang nagdala nito, she didn't protest. Inakbayan ko sya hanggang sa makararing kami sa canteen.

It was crowded when we got there. Dagdag mo pa yung init.

"Ugh, I'm sweating. Ang init dito sungit" reklamo ni Ynna

"I know. Let's just have our lunch outside" I suggested.

She nodded.

Ynna's POV

Grabe. Ang init sa canteen, sobra. Ang dami pang tao, kaya sa labas nalang kami kumain ni Drew. We ended up having our lunch at Chowking.

Nung palabas na kami, biglang may humarang sa amin na mga reporters.. Something like that.

"Mr Fernandez, what can you say about your father's condition?"

"Tanggap mo pa rin ba sya?"

"Paano na kayo mabubuhay nyan ngayon?"

And I was like.. What?? What the hell are they talking about? Anong meron sa tatay ni Drew??

Cameras keep on flashing around us,.. Nakayakap ako kay Drew habang naglalakad, pero grabe ang tindi nila.. Nakakalmot na nila kami, nauntog pa nga ako sa mic nung isang reporter eh..

I looked at Drew, naiinis na sya... Hindi na ako makahinga ng maayos..

I remembered him shouting at the reporters, after that everything went black

I woke up in my room. *Kusot mata* Then may narinig akong nagsisigawan sa baba. syempre bumaba ako.

"Ipapahamak mo lang si Ynna!" sigaw ni ate

"I'll protect her!" sigaw naman ni Drew.

Nung napansin nilang andunako, natahimik sila. Lumabas si ate, si Drew naman nilapitan ako.

"Are you okay already?" he asked then I felt his hands on my forehead. Kumirot noo ko

"Ow!" I hissed

"Sorry, sorry.  Psh damn those stupid reporters." sabi nya, ah oo pala.. Natamaan ako ng mic kanina

"What was that all about?" I asked him habang humihiga ako sa lab nya, nasa sofa na kasi kami.

"It's about my dad" he answered.

Kwinento nya sa akin yung about sa tatay nya. Pati yung pagkalugi nila. Yung pagkawala sa sarili nung tatay nya. Pati yung pagsusugal nung tatay nya. Honestly, I feel bad for him. Ngayon lang nya nalaman, tapos bigla na lang syang guguluhin ng mga reporters na yun.

"You could say that again" sabi ko, he gave a what?-look

"Those damn stupid reporters" I said then we both laughed. But then, may naalala ako

"Bat pala kayo nagsisigawan kanina ni Ate?? Do you know her?" I asked

Pansin kong,  nagulat sya sa tanong ko

"U-uh, no. We just met. U-uhm kasi dinala kita dito na may bukol. Yeahh" he said then parang pinagpapawisan sya.

Malamig naman dito ah?? Bat sya pinagpapawisan?? Tumayo ako at tinapat yung electric fan sa kanya. Naka number 3 pa

"Huh?" sya.

"Baka kasi naiinitan ka eh. Pinagpapawisan ka eh" sabi ko then umupo ako sa sofa.

After ilang minuto ng pag-uusap.. Nagpaalam na rin sya, may aasikasuhin daw sya. I didn't bother asking him kung ano yan yun dahil I trust him naman

Drew's POV

I told her that I need to do something important, but in fact, I just couldn't stand lying in front of her.

And also, my private investigator called and wanted to meet me. I hope mali ang hinala ko.

"Sir.. " then he handed me an envelope. I hesitated before opening it..

Nung binuksan ko iyon, I was shocked to see Ynna's face on the first page,. I scanned the files. Andito ung buong pamilya nila, even her older sister.

Speaking bout her sister, yes.. She knows everything about this. She even told me to break-up with Ynna! That bitch, she doesn't have the right to tell me that, she doesn't even know her own sister that much!

"So, it's confirmed." I said

"Uhh, and sir.. I have a bad news.. Really bad.." he said not looking at me

"What is it? Is it about my father again?" I asked

"Yes sir. He's gone insane. He tried to kill Mr. Salvador just to have their money. Nakakulong po sya ngayon sa US. Good thing hindi nagsasalita sa media sila Mr. Salvador." sabi nya. What?! Can't this day get any worse??

*Riiiing* I looked at who is calling, it's my mom

"Yes?" I answered

"Nak,.. I assume alam mo na ang mga ginagawa ng tatay mo dito. I just wanted to tell you na.. Wala na sa katinuan ang tatay mo. And uhm. Nagsend akong pera sayo. I think you should take over na sa kumpanya jan. That's all left to keep us live a healthy life. Sorry." then she hung up

"You can go now" utos ko sa kausap ko

My decision is final. I need to do this.
