Chapter 6

Joaquin POV
It's Saturday and I'm getting ready to leave. Not just Kevin's house, Riverdale. I grab my backpack that contains mostly everything I need and start walking to the bus stop with Kevin

We walk in silence, holding hands with Kevin's head on my shoulder

We get there in about 5 minutes before my bus to San Francisco comes. We sit in a room full of seats and wait

My eyes move to Kevin who has a big frown on his face and silent tears running down his cheeks

"Cheer up preppy, it's only for a month" I say, nudging him slightly

He looks up at me and sighs "your the only one I can talk to half the time, well...most the time" I see sadness in his eyes

"We can Skype call everyday, mostly every hour if you want to" I say, kissing his head, wrapping my arms around him

I see my bus pull up and sigh. I stand up with Kev and we walk to the bus

We stop right in front of the door to the big metal object, there's already a fair amount of serpents on there

"You better call me everyday baby boy and we'll Skype call around 7 every night, but, don't be afraid to Skype me if you need help with your dad or homework...just let me see your face"
I say and kiss him

He smiles and nods when we break off "see you in a month"

"I'm gonna miss you preppy..." And with that I climb onto the bus and I watch him wave as it pulls away
