Chapter 10

Veronica POV
"We'll hide and you can count Ronnie" said Kevin. He was smiling at me "start counting in 3,2,1 now!" He yelled as a closed my eyes and him, Betty, Rocky and Joaquin his around my house

I counted to 50 and started looking for them. I see a pair of white pumps with a large daisy decorating the front

I walk to the curtain where they poked out and opened it "found you Betty, now, let's find the others" I chime

We walk around and find Kevin under my bed and we find Joaquin and Rocky in my walk in wardrobe, giving behind a rack of long dresses making the nearly unnoticeable

We played hide and seek for the next hour, Joaquin always being difficult the find, except to Kevin who always found him first

Kevin and Joaquin are so cute with Rocky. My mum came in three men carrying a pine tree behind her

It was two weeks until Christmas. When Joaquin saw the tree he bit his lip and looked to me and Betty

"Um girls...can I talk to you for a minute?" He said, looking slightly nervous. He kissed Kevin on the head and we walked to my bedroom

"Keep him there" I mouthed to my mum and moved my eyes in Kevin's director before closing the door

"So, Joaquin, what can we help you with?" I say, smiling. He fumbled around in his pocket and pulled out a small black box

"I want to propose to Kevin but, I don't know how to ask him..." He trailed off and looked down. Betty pried the box from his hands and opened it

She smiled at it and hugged him

"You'll be fine Joaquin. Kev loves you with all his heart and he's wanted to marry you for ages" she said to him. I tool the ring box and looked at it. I got a cloth and polished it

"Its beautiful" I say.  Joaquin looks up at me with a small smile. I look at the small diamonds placed in the silver ring

The words 'I love you preppy' were engraved inside of the ring

Kevin POV
They walk out of the room, Betty and Veronica smiling

Joaquin walks to me and pulls Rocky onto him lap. He kisses he head and puts his arm around my waist, pulling me closer

I yawned and my eyelids start to feel heavy. My eyelid get lower and lower...

Joaquin POV

he looks so cute when he's sleeping. I held him close to my heart that now belongs to him

I look over at the girls and see that are also sleeping. I look down at Rocky who also has his eyes glued shut

God I hate it when its quiet
