chapter 17

Joaquin POV
I'm laying on the bed, Rocky's head on my chest, the laptop balenced on my stomach

I keep scrolling down the page of rings, unsuccessful at finding a wedding ring for Kevin (as we had agreed to chose each others)

I was about to give up on this website when I see a silver ring, diamond swirls decorating it's surface. I click on the ring and it's beautiful. I find out it can have 5 different colour diamonds as the swirls

"Do you like this one Rocky?" I say. I wait a couple of seconds, him eventually nodding. I hugged him and looked at the different colours

Red, green, blue, yellow or white. Yellow, definitely

I hear the door knock as soon as I'm about to place the order for the ring. I put the laptop down and answer the door. Betty and Cheryl

"Auntie Cheryl!" I hear Rocky yell as he runs into her arms, smiling. "I'm, come in" I say as I move out of their way and back to the bedroom

I pull the laptop back onto me lap so Betty and Cheryl can sit down. Betty looks at the laptop and gasps

"It's beautiful, Kevin will love it. But, why yellow?" Betty asks with a confused look on her face

"Kevin's a Hufflepuff" I say with a smile on my face. Betty's nods and I order it. I'm actually quite proud

I put the laptop on the night stand and face the girls. The smile to each other and Betty drags me off the bed only for her to sit back down

Cheryl stands up and circles around me, Rocky still in her arms. "Assistant" she says, clicking her fingers. Betty runs to her side and looks to her "get my measuring tape"

Betty comes back, seconds after leaving with measuring tape trailing after her. Cheryl puts Rocky in the bed and grabs both ends of the tape

She instructs me to stand still and puts both my arms out. She then measures me, writing the results down on her hand

"What are you doing?" I say, trying to turn my head to look at her. She sighs slightly and looks me in the eye "measuring you for your suit, duh"

She goes back to her measuring and I turn to face Betty, who has gone back to sitting on the bed. She looks up at me and smiles "we just measured Kevin for his suit, now Archie and Jughead are having a manly talk with him"

I just nod me head in response. "Ow!" I yell as Cheryl pokes me in the back with her sharp nails

She just chuckles lightly and goes back to Betty. "Well we're all done here. Veronica's house tomorrow, 3 o clock"

Kevin POV
I'm sitting on Veronica's king size bed, scrolling through the third ring website I had been on since Betty and Cheryl left a few hours ago

"It's pointless V, all the rings are the same on every website" I groan. She walks over to me and takes the laptop

She stares intensely at it m, scrolling through the website I was currently on. Her face then lights up and she places the laptop back on my lap

The ring she had chosen was beautiful. Silver with diamond swirls decorating it. I see an array of colour choices, settling in the green one

Veronica comes next to me and smiles. "Green?" She questions slightly, facing me

"Joaquin's a Slytherin" I smile back, ordering it. "He's going to love it" V says kissing my forehead

She turns her attention to the clock and smiles. "C'mon" she says happily "it's 10, you should get to sleep. You have a long day of trying on suits tomorrow"

I nod and lay down on her bed, next to the wall. I sigh and kiss Veronica's head. "Goodnight" I say tiredly

Still Kev
It's 2:55 pm and I'm sitting on the couch of the new Thornhill, lost in thought

The door knocks, causing me to jump and snap out of my daydream. I answer it, Joaquin crashes his lips into mine as soon as I do so

Rocky walks in after Joaquin, ignoring me and going to find Cheryl

"Boys, come upstairs" I hear Cheryl yell at exactly 3 o clock

"Rocky! Let's go upstairs" I yell, him running into my arms. I carry him upstairs and we get pushed into a room by Veronica

The room is giant. There's two expensive sewing machines, about three big, glass cupboards filled with materials and strings

"I was thinking along the lines of a fairytale theme" Cheryl says smiling. She claps her hands and Betty walks out of the closet, holding two outfits

(AN: the two outfits I had in mind are the ones Joey and Daniel wore in the 'Don't wait' mv. Kevin would have Joey's and Joaquin had Daniels)

"Me and Betty went shopping yesterday. We picked out some outfits that could look very prince-like" I looked at the outfits in more detail

I smile and nod at Cheryl, satisfied with the outfits, Joaquin doing the same

"We were thinking that the bridesmaids or in this case groomsmaids could wear fairy outfits" Betty smiled

"And the best man could be a troll or something like that" Veronica chimed in

We nod in response and try on the outfits, they're great. While the girls go down stairs and think of plans for the cake, me and Joaquin talk about best man and groomsmaids

"I want Betty, Cheryl, Polly and Betty as the groomsmaids" I say as I turn to face him "any ideas for best man?"

"FP. I want FP to be the best man" he's sighs and looks away from me. FP was the man who made Joaquin like to me

"Why?" I ask, making him gave me again

"He's like a father to me. I know I put him into jail but, he's forgiven me and accepted the fact that I love you. For real" Joaquin sighs "he's a good man Kevin and I want as my best man"

I nod and hug Joaquin. He's hugs back and goes to call FP while I go downstairs and tell the girls about them being the groomsmaids

God, why won't the wedding come sooner?
