Chapter 19

Joaquin POV
I wake up and smile when I turn and see Kevin sleeping next to me. I look down at my ring and smile

I hear a creek and see the door has been opened. Rocky runs in and jumps on the bed. I signal him to me and hug him

"Can I wake dada Kev up to?" He asks and I nod. He jumps on Kevin, causing him to wake up with a jump. Rocky and I burst out in laughter at Kevin face

He smirks towards us and tackles me to the bed. I let Rocky run from the bed and when he leaves, Kevin pulls me into a passionate kiss

"You wanna go to the mall today? Just the two of us" he says as we break apart. He kisses my neck softly as I nod and he smiles

After we all I have breakfast, I call Cheryl and ask if she can look after Rocky and, like always, she says yes with enthusiasm

We all get dressed. I wear my dark denim jacket, some black jeans and my blue graphic t shirt. Kevin wears light blue jeans and a purple sweater and Rocky wears his lion onesie

I smile at him and carry him out to the car. I buckle Rocky into his seat and sit in the driver's seat

We drive to Cheryl's and see Veronica is there. "Hey guys," they greet us and Rocky runs into Cheryl's arms. "Let's go watch Harry Potter"

Rocky smiles and cheers as they run upstairs. Veronica stands up and walks out of the door with us

"Where are you guys going?" She asks, interested. "The mall" I reply and she smiles "can I come?" She asks. Me and Kev look at each other, smile and nod

We all get in the car and drive, singing to Kev's High School Musical album. When we get there, I ask to go to hot topic and they say only if they could go to Urban Outfitters

As hot topic is closer to the entrance, we go there first and I instantly run to the band merch while Kevin and Veronica run off somewhere else. I look through the different racks until I find a Melanie Martinez sweatshirt

I look for my size and smile when I find it. I then moved onto backpacks as I need one. I pick out a Twenty Øne piløts one and smile

I go to find Kev and Veronica and see them by the Harry Potter stuff. "You ready to go" I ask, wrapping my arms around Kevin's waist, kissing his neck

He's smiles and nods. I see him holding a pair of grey sweat pants with the Hufflepuff crest on them. He is also holding a rainbow banner with the equality sign in the middle

I smile and we all go to pay. When we leave the store, we see a familiar face, a face I didn't want to see today

Moose

Kevin POV
As we walk out of the store, I see Moose. He was hand in hand with Midge. She sees us and waves. I wave a small wave back but, my head fills with bad memories

All our hook-ups, him kissing Joaquin me then beating him up, him beating Joaquin up until he was unconscious

I grab Joaquins hand and dig my nails into his head. He pulls me into a kiss, trying to calm me down

Someone yells homophobic slurs at Joaquin and I but I couldn't care less. I loosened my grip and smiled at him. He pecked my lips once more and we walk to urban outfitters

We hear someone call mine and Veronica's name and when we Trina around, we see Midge, slowly followed by Moose

"Hey Midge" I said with a smile, ignoring Moose. Joaquin holds my hand tighter. "I find it adorable that you got married at such a 'young' age. It's shows you really love each other"

I nod, and smile. All I want to tell her about is the hook-ups I used to have with Moose. It would be right to tell her but I can't bring myself to do it

Midge and Veronica then go into conversation on how they are letting boys join the cheerleading team, I actually might join

Midge smiles us a goodbye and walks towards the exit. "I fell sorry for Midge, she has to be stuck with that unloyal prick"

Veronica and Joaquin burst into laughter and we make out way towards the store

God, today has already been eventful
