Chapter 2

Kevin POV
Today was going to be amazing. It's September 29. My birthday! I run into school with excitement, running up to Betty and Veronica

"Hey Kev, why so exiting? " Veronica said, making me feel slightly crushed

" Because of what day it is" a smile spread across my face but when I saw Ronnie's confused face,  I sighed "do you remember?"

"Remember what? " said Ronnie in response. I look down, clearly upset

I turned and looked at Betty,  wanting her to remember and back me up
"so Kev" I started to smile again but the next words that escaped Betty's lips crushed me even more "what's happening today?"

"uh...n-nothing" I walk away from them,  fighting back tears and staring at my feet

I pull my phone out and put my favorite album 'Blue Neighborhood' by Troye Sivan

I start to blare out the words to Heaven causing people to stare but, I don't care,  I just want to be as happy as I can be

I got interrupted by two arms wrapping around my waist, I jumped dropping my phone

I turned to the owner of the arms sighing with relief when I realized it was Joaquin "hey handsome" he said deeply before placing his lips on mine

I pushed him away after a good minute or two and looked into his eyes

"what are you doing here? " I said picking up my now cracked phone

" Can't I wish my perfect, hot boyfriend Happy Birthday?" he replied causing me to smile wide and blush

"you seem to be the only one who remembered...." I sigh and looked down. His arms wrapped around me with the strength to break my bones but, I didn't care

"pick you up at 8" Joaquin says before leaving

"for what? " I yell at him getting no answer

Joaquin POV
7:30. Time to leave. I get on my motorbike and drive to the Keller house. I walk round the back and start throwing rocks at him window.

when he pokes his head out like a meerkat I get down on one knee and look up at him

"Romeo,  oh Romeo, where art tough romeo" I smiled as a blush creeped up to his cheeks

"I'll be down now" he closes his window and the next thing I know is he's now outside next to me. I had him the only helmet as I never wear it and don't want his to get hurt

"so, where r we going handsome" he said placing his chin on my shoulder and holding my waist tight

"wait and see preppy" I start the bike and make my way to the Lodge house

we stopped outside, Kevin looking confused

we climbed of the bike and walked to the door, I knocked forcefully and in a matter of seconds we're met with Veronica who bore a smile from ear to ear

"we've been waiting ages" she grabs my arm and I twist my fingers around Kevin wrist, pulling him along

we entered Veronicas main room which lit up instantly as we came to it

the word 'surprise' echoed around the room, a smile carving itself on Kevins face

he turned to the raven haired girl and the girl wearing only pastel colours next to her

"I thought you too forgot" he said,  still is slight shock "as if we could" chimed the two girls at the same time as they hugged him

"Joaquin helped" said Betty glancing in my direction,  Kevin pulling my into the hug

"now... LET'S PARTY!" Archie yelled as music blared and people started dancing

Kevin POV
this is the best night ever. it's my birthday and Joaquins on top of me, kissing my chest

the party had been going on for two hours now and Joaquin had pulled me in,  stripping himself as soon as we walked in

i love him. he's hot, perfect, smart and sexy

(AN: so,  I don't actually know when Kevins birthday is,  I just made it up and it may or may not be my birthday. so anyway,  this chapters longer because I wanted to fit everything to do with his birthday in one. chapter so here)
