Joaquin POV
I can't wait to get out of this hell whole they call a hospital. Rocky could take better care of me with Hus eyes closed and child's doctor kit.

Kevin was on his way so we could pick Rocky up from school together and get milkshakes

I run around the room collecting my stuff and shoving it into my rucksack. I feel some arms wrap around my waist in my haze to get stuff

I look around and see Kevin. I crash my lips into his. He handed me spare clothes

He packed my other stuff while I was changing. We left as soon as I slipped my vans on

We get in the car and we start to drive to Rocky's school. We get there and walk into his room

We see Rocky who had obviously stolen Kevin's pride flag and was wearing it as a cape

Kevin smiled and chuckled. Rocky ran up to us and I hugged him, lifting him of the ground

He kissed me on the head causing me to smile. Kevin signed Rocky out and we walked back to the car

We got to pops in just under 10 minutes and found an empty booth

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom, order me a medium chocolate milkshake" Kevin said as he kissed my head and got up

The bell chimed. Archie and his dad walked in and sat in a booth close to ours

About 20 minutes later, me, Rocky and Kevin were drinking our milkshakes and the bell chimes

A man in a leather jacket, a flannel shit and a ski mask came in. He held s gun to pop and demanded money

I told Rocky and Kevin to go to the bathroom. Kevin got up and went with Rocky trailing behind him

BANG!

Kevin POV
We ran to him, tears running down. Rocky was screaming in pain

The bullet had gone into his leg. The man had left

Archie, Fred and Pop ran to us and Fred called an ambulance. Pops got a cloth and rapped it around the wound and sirens started to drown out the sound of sobbing

Rocky was helped into an ambulance, me and Joaquin going with him. God, I've never been this scared in my whole life
