"You said you loved me." He frowned, cupping my face in his warm hands, "Were you lying?"

I was hoping for his voice to betray some pain he felt, but nothing echoed in his words. Just empty words, as empty as the promises he made me.

"I-"

"You were everything to me babe." He whispered, leaning in and grazing his lips gently over my neck, sending chills spiraling through my body, "You are everything to me."

"You hurt me." I gasped out, trying not to fall into his trap again.

"Come on," He whispered, his breath warming my neck, moving his lips down to my collar bone, "I would never do that on purpose."

I closed my eyes for a second, falling victim into the feeling he gave me. I bit my lip, inhaling gently as he started to kiss me along my collarbone.

He hurt you.

I snapped out of it, pushing him away from me quickly, "Don't touch me."

"You know you love it." He says in a deep voice, trying to seduce me with his words.

"You hurt me." I say again, "I'm not letting you hurt me again. Not again. Not like you hurt everyone you come in contact with."

"You're different, I wouldn't do it again." He says, his lies piercing my heart with tiny daggers.

Don't fall victim.

"You hurt everyone. You mistreat everyone. I hate you." I spat out, backing away. He eyes narrow, a slight smirk playing on his lips.

"You said you loved me." He says deeply, winking.

"I did, but I hate you. I hate you, enough so to swear it to the moon and back. What I loved-"

"What did you love, baby?" He takes a step closer, my breath hitching in my throat.

My heart, as broken as it was, starts beating wildly again. And I curse at it to slow down. I would rather it stop than beat so wildly in his presence.

"No. I didn't love you." I say, backing away. "All I loved, was the idea of you."
