While Jones, Scott and Marie were reviewing the case, a voice shouted out, "SAVE THE LAKE!!!" And then a can of blue paint came out of nowhere and landed on Jones' head.

Blinded by the paint that spilled on him, Jones looked around desperately and asked, "What happened?! Scott, Marie, are you guys still there?"

Marie took the can off of Jones' head and Scott said, "Yeah, we're still here Inspector Jones."

"Are you okay David? You're not hurt are you?" Marie asked as she started to wipe some of the paint off of Jones' face.

Jones told her that he was all right and then he said, "I don't understand what really happened! First we were talking about Aaliyah's murder and the next thing I knew I was seeing blue!"

Just then a girl with her red hair in a braid stomped up to them and told them angrily, "Well such things wouldn't be needed if people would just listen to me! But you lot only respond to provocation!"

Scott then greeted the girl and said, "Hey there Taylor. It's surprising that you're here protesting as usual."

"Well I wouldn't be protesting if your damn police friends responded to the real needs of the world Scottie boy," the girl named Taylor said while still red in the face.

Suddenly, Jones got angry at the girl and said, "So you're the one who threw this paint at me?! Marie, do your job and arrest this madwoman if you please!"

Marie then took out her handcuffs and placed on Taylor's wrists, but Taylor started to struggle and exclaimed, "You can't arrest me! I have a right to protest!"

"You can protest all you want as soon as my partner cleans the paint that you threw on him off! Then we'll have a serious talk with you missy," Marie said to the struggling girl as she started to lead her away.

Just then, Chief King showed up and told Marie that he would like to have a word with her in his office. Marie agreed to talk with him and she asked one of the officers to take Taylor to one of the interrogation rooms. After they did, King saw Jones trying to wipe the paint off of his face and he said to him with a sigh, "Jones, can you at least clean yourself up before coming to work."

Jones told him that he's trying to and he told Marie that he'll meet up with her once he's done cleaning up and soon he headed to the bathroom with Scott following behind him. After a quick wash-up, the boys met up in King's where he and Marie were waiting. As soon as they were in front if him, the chief asked, "So how's the investigation on Ms. Banks' murder? Do you have any leads?"

"We have several good suspects so far and we know that the killer was definitely targeting Aaliyah. Cause they cut her leg before they pushed her onto the water just to make sure the fish would attack her," Marie explained what she knew so far.

Jones also added in, "We also know that the killer stole the fish from the biology amphitheater at the university cause Marie found a fish tank that was empty."

King folded his hands together and said, "I see. But what about the killer's path from the university to the lake? Did you check out the Oiltop gas station yet?"

Confused, Jones asked what he meant and the chief told them that the gas station is a well know watering hole for the students heading to and from the lake. He then asked, "But I bet you already knew that didn't you Jones?"

Jones then said anxiously, "Of course I knew! In fact, Scott, Marie and I were just heading over there! Weren't we?"

Before they could head over to the gas station, Marie suggested that they talk to Taylor first and before they could the chief stopped Scott and asked him if he could talk to him privately. After Jones and Marie left the office, King looked at Scott and asked him, "Do you still have that same bad feeling from when Marie started in this district young man?"
