*Alex's POV*

I woke up next to Luke as I carried myself to his room again last night again. Today was the day of the wedding. I've never been to wedding, not that I can remember anyway but I didn't know what to expect, I lay on my back and just stared at the roof while I played with the edge of the duvet, to say I was nervous was an understatement. I was terrified. What if the rest of Jenna's family didn't like me? What then? I was getting myself worked up over nothing, right? I decided I had better get up and shower before everyone else started queueing up. I locked the door and stepped in letting the warm water bounce off my skin. I felt a little more calm about today and I went back into my own room to get changed into sweats and a tank top before I had to get dressed for the wedding. There was a knock on my door but before I could answer Luke walked in "I thought everyone had already left for the wedding" I laughed at the wash of relief on his face "Don't you think I'd have woken you up? I'm not going alone" He shrugged and slumped on the end of the bed "You didn't show me the dress you got" He informed me as I started doing my hair so I didn't have to rush later on "You can just wait until I have it on" I smiled at him through the mirror "Do I have to?" I nodded and he slouched again "Don't you have to shower or something?" I asked him when I seen he was fiddling with his fingers "Yeah I guess" He left the room for a shower and I started putting loose curls in my hair. I finished that and started doing my make-up, I went all out since it was a special occasion so I did my concealer and foundation properly and I did a smokey eye effect on my eyes. I heard people down the stairs shouting and running back and forth, Jenna was at one of her bridesmaid's houses to get ready and Chris stayed here with a bunch of other guys including Jacob, I hadn't seen Luke since he left for his shower so I assumed he was getting suited up so I slipped on my dress and looked myself over in the mirror placed in the corner of the room. I liked it. I put on my new boots and put my phone and anything I might need in my purse and opened the door to leave but when I opened it I was meeted by Luke. He had his hair up in a quiff and his suit and tie on which made him look ten times hotter. "You look...beautiful" He gasped and I blushed "You look handsome yourself" He linked his arm in mine and we walked down the hall and the stairs out to the car Chris was letting us borrow seen as he had to be at the church early.

*Luke's POV*

Alex stepped out of her bedroom just as I was about to knock. I didn't know what to say, she looked stunning, beautiful, indescribable. The way her hair fell down her shoulder made my stomach do backflips. She was blushing as I opened the car door for her to get it "I can do it myself" She giggled and I closed the door and got in the drivers seat of her brother's Audi "It was the gentlemanly thing to do" She laughed again and we drove off to the church, I noticed her playing with the hem of her dress, one of the things she would do if she was nervous "It'll be ok" I smiled at her only taking my eyes off the road for a second, I rested my hand on her thigh and she seemed to calm a bit "I guess I'm nervous of what Jenna's family might think of me, I was the f*cked up sister and what if they judge me for it" I rubbed my hand up and down, it pained me to see her like this "They don't know about what happened in the past, the past is the past, it doesn't matter anymore. What matters is the person you are today and that person is a great one! It's the one I fell in love with!" She smiled at me and rested her hand on top of mine "Love" She whispered to herself thinking I never heard her, I let her think that and I squeezed her hand gently "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me" She stated and I leaned over the handbrake to kiss her cheek swiftly before I crashed the car into someone's house or something. The sun was shining and the windows were rolled right down, Alex's hair was blowing in the breeze the filled the car and that moment I realised I had found the girl who I wanted to be with forever.

We entered the church, it was a small church but a church all the same, the benches had flowers at the end of every stall and flowers and ribbon was wrapped around the pillars. I had only ever been to one wedding but it wasn't as fancy as this one, there was a big group of people on the left and only a few people sitting on the right. We walked to the row of benches at the front next to a woman who had blonde hair from what I could see, Alex was clearly nervous and I took her hand in mine "It's okay" I reassured her and as we got closer to the front I seen Alex's face twist in confusion "What is it?" I asked her but she didn't answer me "Mom?" She croaked and the blonde haired woman turned round and smiled "Alex!" She exclaimed and ran to Alex engulfing her in a hug. Alex stayed quiet, she stood for a minute and then turned and fled back down the aisle.

*Alex's POV*

Why the hell was my mom here?! How did she know about the wedding? Why the hell did she hug me? She abandoned both me and my brother and she thinks I'd welcome her back into my life with open arms? I don't think so! I had to get out of there, I was now sitting outside on the cobbled wall, the sun beating on my back when the shade was suddenly gone "What the hell just happened?" Luke was standing in front of me, he must have chased me out here "You're asking me?!" I almost yelled and he stood back a little, I heard more footsteps and Chris appeared "Why aren't you in the church? Jenna will be here soon" He was all suited up, hair slapped back ready for the biggest say of his life. "Oh, I dunno maybe the woman who gave birth to me was sitting in the front row?!" I screamed at him and he rubbed the back of his neck "About that.." He trailed off "You didn't think to tell me she'd be here?!" Luke was standing back a bit just watching the scene in front of him "I'm sorry ok! She said she might come it wasn't anything official!" He shouted back at me "You've been talking to her? The woman who abandoned us?" I screamed letting all the anger out "She's still our mother! We were old enough to fend for ourselves anyway it's not like we were six!" I threw my hands in the air and stood up from the wall "That doesn't make it any different! She's just a woman who used to be in my life and then all of a sudden she wasn't!" I pushed him and he was caught off guard because he stumbled back a bit "Alex, let's just go insi--" Luke spoke but I cut him off "This doesn't concern you Luke!" I turned back to Chris "That's why you invited me isn't it? That's the only reason you tried to get back in touch with me, so I could come here and see our mom and everything would be like it was? Well it won't be! Nothing will ever erase the past and what happened to us Chris!" I hit him again "Us?! Nothing happened to us! It happened to you! You were the one going out to parties every night! You were the one that would have sex with anyone who'd let you! I was fine Alex! I was passing my classes! You were the problem!" He shouted and by this point Jenna was already here and stopped in the middle of the path, a small crowd had gathered and none of us seemed to notice I brought my hand up and slapped him hard across the face "I knew it was a mistake to come here" I pushed through the crowd and ran off down the street, I heard Luke calling after me but I removed my heels and kept running, I didn't care I just wanted to be away from everyone and everything. My cell phone ringed non-stop for 5 minutes but eventually stopped and so did I. I was standing outside a small café and I had no idea where I was. I looked around but didn't recognise the street. I let the tears fall. I didn't realise I was holding them in until I slid down the wall outside the  café door. I was going to go back in there but Chris just made it worse, my chest hurt, my dress was ruined, I was lost and alone. I could have called Luke but I just needed space right now "Are okay Miss?" An elderly woman asked as she passed "Yes thank you, just been a long day" I smiled at her weakly "It gets better dear" She nodded and I smiled back at her. I stood up from the concrete ground and wiped myself best I could and put my heels back on, I walked down the street and just kept going, I had no idea where but wherever I ended up was better than being at that church.
