6 things Jihoon clearly remembers until now

One, he can still clearly remember how he met Seungcheol. It started with a casual conversation, exchanging of numbers until they became best of friends. It was as if they were inseparable; they did lots of things with each other, supporting and cheering for themselves as they go through challenges in life.

They promised to stay with each other until they turn grey and old.

Two, he can still clearly remember how Seungcheol cared for him. It's still clear to him how Seungcheol would do everything to cheer him up whenever he was feeling gloomy and sad because of his problems. He could also remember how he would be Seungcheol's pillow as the boy cried his heart out when his dog died.

They were with each other as they faced trials and problems in their life.

Three, he can still clearly remember how Seungcheol started to become affectionate towards him. He noticed how Seungcheol would tell him cheesy pick up lines and wink at him flirtatiously. They would be hanging out and having a casual conversation until Seungcheol does something cringe-worthy like telling Jihoon how he loved him a lot.

Four, he can still clearly remember how his heart would flutter inside his chest as he hears Seungcheol tell him sweet nothings. How his face would heat up and turn crimson red, his hands sweaty and clammy because of the nervousness he was feeling as Seungcheol acted as if he was going to kiss the younger. Right at that moment when Seungcheol enveloped him in a bone-crushing hug after he won in a competition, he knew he fell inlove with him.

Five, he can still clearly remember how his heart got shattered. How painful and agonizing it felt to know that everything was nothing to Seungcheol; those hugs, pick up lines, cheesy messages and affectionate actions are his ways of being friendly towards his bestfriend.

Jihoon can still clearly remember how hard it was to accept that Seungcheol sees him as his bestfriend, nothing more and nothing less. It pained him a lot to know that he was the only one who thought that something could've worked between them. He was the only one hoping that a love story can be started with him and Seungcheol.

Six, up until now Jihoon couldn't forget how hurt he was when Seungcheol told him that he was courting someone already. He asked Jihoon to wish him luck, and he did. Jihoon wished him luck as he turned around and let those warm, salty tears stream down his face. He remembers how he walked home to his apartment and started shutting everyone off.

His world crashed down and his heart was hurting too much for him to handle. He couldn't bear the pain he was feelings as the words Seungcheol said kept on repeating in his head.

Of all the things he remembered, the only one he forgot about is that he was just a friend to Seungcheol and nothing more.
