Angst ft. Fluff because it's me who's writing this.

Seungcheol sat back and let the happiness soak right into his bones. He wanted the feeling to still be there when he was old. He closed his eyes and savored the moment; Jihoon resting his back against his chest, and his arms encircling the younger one. For the first time in forever his body and mind relaxed.

Jihoon noticed Seungcheol's gummy smile which made him smile back. The happiness that was radiating off of Seungcheol was infectious; Jihoon can feel it pass through him like a warm ocean wave, washing away the stress of his day to leave him refreshed inside.

How Seungcheol loved those days when they both walked on the empty park and simply talked, laughed and made silly jokes. Those were the days he loved, and he made sure to enjoy every single moment.

"I love you." Seungcheol whispered next to Jihoon's ear before placing a chaste kiss on top of the younger's head. It felt so right. Seungcheol was waiting for a response, but with a blink of an eye, Jihoon was gone.

Seungcheol frantically searched for his lover, but to no avail. He's losing his mind. His sharp knees dig into the earth as he hits the ground. He shouts for Jihoon's name, his head violently quivering as if there is a drill to the back of his skull.

Tear stream down his cheeks, his whole face is red, and he screams at the very top of his lungs. He stands up slowly, walking around and around, trying to find that one person who makes his life complete. His upper body and shoulders wrack with every sob that forces their way out, chest rising and falling unevenly as he gasps for breath, and he squeezes his eyes shut, balling his hands into fists each time he throws his head back to let out a blood curdling scream.

An ominous boom startled Seungcheol out of his dream. His cheeks were wet and his body was bathed in a cold sweat. The sheets were twisted around his limbs and his heart pounded against his chest.

He slowly wiped the tears away and evened out his breath. He grabbed the glass of water beside his bed and emptied the bottle quickly. With a sigh escaping his lips, he laid down and stared at nothing in particular.

"I, I thought it was real," Seungcheol muttered to himself who was now crying once again, his hands gripping his hair, "It felt so real."
