Chapter 3 - Save you tonight

The boys were even hyper today especially Louis! He kept talking about Eva through out our journey to the supermarket. I saw his face lit up each time someone mentions Eva name. I assumed Eva must be such a special person to Louis.

'Eva is so pretty .....' Louis kept bragging about it. He has repeated it for more than 10 times, i guess. I just wanted to shut him up but looking at him being so excited makes me smile. He looks so cute. At times, Niall had to place his hands over Louis mouth to make him stop talking. The boys have such a beautiful friendship and I'm rather lucky to have met them.

We reached the supermarket and Niall got excited and ran towards the chicken section. Louis was still jumping around and smiling while Harry accompanied Niall to get the chicken. Liam walked at the back with me. Liam is such an adorable person. His smile. His hair. He is just the guy every woman wants to be with.

'Eva is Louis close friend. They have known each other since they were young. Eva have been studying aboard for more than a year now and she's coming back to London to continue her studies here, with us' Liam explained to me.

I nodded my head and asked 'So does Louis like Eva?' i expected it to be a yes since Louis was so excited talking about her. Never did Louis stop talking about Eva after he received the text from Eva.

'Hm... they tried to work things out .. once.. but unfortunately it didin't happen. I guess they are better off as friends, best friends' Liam answered calmly with a smile.

'I see. thanks for the information Liam! i can't wait to meet Eva! So... does Eva have a boyfriend?' i asked Liam.

Liam hesitated but soon after answered me. 'Hmmm.. she doesn't. But .. she have been waiting for Z.....'

'For Zayn?' i asked, my heart dropped.

'Hmmm.. yes. she have been waiting for Zayn for about 3 years now. But Zayn doesn't want to accept her love. Well, they were once together but Eva cheated on Zayn. Louis didin't know about Eva cheating on him. He doesn't want to ruin Louis friendship with her' Liam answered and soon lean in for a hug.

For some reason, my heart sank knowing that Eva is still waiting for Zayn. I don't want to be third party. I'm afraid. I really am.

'Ready to go?' Niall asked.

I nodded and wiped my tears away. I could still hear Louis talking about Eva even though i was way behind him. I walked alone at the back, trying to calm myself down when my phone rang. I took out my iphone and saw an unknown number on my screen. I unlocked my phone and I read the text. It was from Zayn.

-Text message-

Zayn: Hey babe. I woke up to an empty house. You alright? Zayn here by the way.

I wanted to ignore him. But to think back, why must I? He is not mine. I do admit i'm falling in love with him. But maybe his not the one. Tears dropped down on my iphone screen. I can't control my tears anymore so i decided to let the tears flow. I replied to Zayns' text

Diana:  Hi. i'm out with the boys to the supermarket. EVA is coming over tonight. Don't worry, i'm fine. See you.

I purposely spelled out Evas' name in capital letter. I didin't expect Zayn to reply my text.He has no reasons to reply to it anyway. I bumped into Louis while walking and i apologized to him a couple of times. Louis stood infront of me, lift my chin up and wiped away my tears. My tears kept flowing. The rest of the boys have entered the house. But Louis and myself is still outside.

'Why are you crying sweet heart?' Louis asked, still wiping my tears. His voice calmed me down. I shook my head and replied 'Nothing, i;m fine' I fake a smile to escape from his questions.

'If you are fine, you wouldn't be crying' Louis answered as he hold my index finger. I let out a huge sigh and Louis leaned forward to give me a hug and a kiss on my forehead. I felt better actually. I hugged Louis tighter & I was shocked to see Zayn standing at the door step. He stared at me and I looked away. I can't face him.

For some reason my heart is aching. I don't know why i'm feeling this way. Zayn Malik isn't mine but i could feel my heart breaking each time I hear Evas' name. I let go of Louis and Louis gave me a kiss on my left cheek before he enter.

Zayn still stood there, staring at me. I looked at him with tears streaming down my face. All i needed was to hear his sweet voice saying everything will be okay.
