Part 32

"Quell wake up"

"hmm"

Napatakip siya ng unan sa mukha ng binuksan nito ang kurtina ng kanyang glass wall at tumagos ang liwanag ng araw.

Anong oras na ba?

"Ezeiquell fix your self  mag-usap tayo sa labas don't keep me waiting honey." it was her Mom sweet voice.

Narinig niya na isinarado nito ang pinto napaupo siya sa kama at hinimas ang ulo na masakit galing sa hang-over

One month since it happened wala na siyang ibang ginawa kundi ang uminom ng uminom. Dinampot niya ang T-shirt na nasa sahig at isinuot he is wearing a grey cotton jogging pants na basta na lang niya hinablot sa closet  pumasok siya sa banyo at naghilamos.

He look at his wet reflection on the mirror. Halos di na niya makilala ang sarili di na siya nag-shave ng balbas he also have a dark circle around his eyes. Nag toothbrush na siya at pinuntahan ang ina.

A delicious food aroma meet his nostrils. Agad na kumalam ang sikmura niya when was the last time he eat a homemade food? He can't recall anymore.

Pinuntahan niya ang dining area niya the food is set and her mom was  sitting and waiting for him.

"Son...have a sit. May gusto ka bang kainin lulutuin ko." she said.

Umiling siya at nagsimula ng sumandok ng pagkain.

"Miggy will leave soon..anak nalulungkot ako na mawalay na naman siya sa atin." her mom said sadly.

Miggy don't like business at all isa itong seaman a Mechanical Engineer it is always his brother passion that he didn't understand but he wont question.

"Because of Alexa?" he asked.

Malungkot naman na tumango ang Mommy niya.

"Last time I check him at his townhouse he was exactly you are now. Bakit kaya ang Tatay niyo ay di ganun kabaliw katulad ninyo" sinabayan pa nito ng konting tawa ang huling sinabi.

Di siya sumagot nagpatuloy lang siya sa pagkain.

They are done eating nang tumayo siya para iligpit ang pinagkainan nila when her mother hold his hand.

"Anak..."napaupo siya ulet.

"Everything happens for a reason I wish I can tell you the reasons why all of this happened but I am  not a fairy God Mother son. I'm just your beautiful Mother." napangiti naman siya when her mother tried to kidded around.

"It's alright Mom" pinisil niya ang kamay nito na nakahawak sa kanya.

"Quell when we are in love we done irrational things and sometimes we became selfish but don't stay at that pathetic side of being in love son your happiness doesn't depend only to one person. Sometimes you need to let go what you are holding on so that your hands are free to grab for those who are really meant to stay for you" napatitig lang siya sa kanyang ina na ngumiti sa kanya.

"Hay naku! Ang mga anak ko nagmahal. nasaktan. nag ermitanyo."nagtatawang sabi ng ina.

"Mom?! what the hell is that?" natatawa niyang balik tanong sa ina na sinagot lang ng kibit-balikat.

Kanina pa naka-alis ang Mommy niya peru nakatulala pa rin siya sa pintong nilabasan nito.

Isang buwan wala siyang balita sa mga nangyayari sa mundo. His father take over his place in his absence.

Am I ready to face reality?

Natanong na lamang niya sa sarili.

Natagpuan na lamang niya ang sarili na paakyat sa opisina ni Finn sa Savvied Telecom.

Hinintay muna niya ang lalaki kasi may conference meeting ito.

Nang makita siya nito ay agad na umigting ang panga at dumeritso sa loob ng opisina nito sinundan niya ito. Bago pa man niya tuluyang naisara ang pinto ay bumagsak na siya sa lakas ng pagkasuntok sa kanya ni Finn.

"Gago ka! Ezeiquell! I will fucking kill you for what you did to her!" galit na galit ito at halos masakal na siya sa higpit ng hawak nito sa kwelyo niya sa leeg.

Hinyaan niya saluhin ang mga sunod sunod na suntok nito. At paulit ulit na mura. Huminto din ito ng mapagod nalalasahan na niya ang dugo sa bibig niya at nararamdaman na niya ang hapdi at sakit galing sa mga suntok nito. Nahihirapan na siyang tumayo at gusot gusot na ang kanilang mga damit may bahid ng dugo ang sa kanya.

"She was a princess to us Eldea! But you treat her like shit! I can't fucking forgive you that!" nararamdaman niya na nasasaktan din si Finn sa ginawa niya kay Adrienne. He hurt everyone who love Adrienne so much that is why he deserve to be treated this way.

He take out the envelop from his black coat. He handed it to him.

"What the fuck is this Eldea?" angil nito sa kanya.

"I supposed to give it to you long time ago." di na niya ito hinintay na sumagot iniwan na niya ito.

He saw the horror expression written to all the employees faces he pass by.

Nagmaneho siya patungo sa kanilang opisina.

Two days pass from the incident in Finn's office.

When someone set an appointment to him. He was nervous as hell as he waited him in the coffee shop.

Agad siyang tumayo ng dumating ito.

"Sir.." he tried every guts he had to hide the nervousness.

He is Quell Eldea brain and the backbone of Eldea's Construction Firm and Eldea's Real State business. but standing in front of him is no other than Mr. Calix Sebastian Rodriguez the first son of Alejandro and the father of Adrienne.

"Have a seat Quell" he didn't expect the light aura at all. It surprise him big time.

"So how was Allen? I barely meet that old man of yours" he speak lightly.

"His...his ..fine sir" he can't help it the man sitting in front of him felt like the calm weather before the storm strike.

" Don't be too formal call me Tito Calix or Sebastian suit your self"

Napatango na lamang siya at ng maka alis na ang waiter na nag serve sa kanilang kape ay biglang sumeryoso ang titig sa kanya ni Mr. Rodriguez. That brought shiver to his nerves.

"I will direct my point Ezeiquell I don't like what you did to Adrienne." his stare was cold as ice but felt like he was hit by enormous fire.

"I'm sorry Tito. I deserve worst for what I did to your daughter" napayuko na lang siya.

"For the old time sake Hijo I wont do harm to your businesses and because my daughter will despise me if I will do that but don't do a mistake twice Ezeiquell cause I will forget every friends I have when its my family were talking about" it was stated calmly but its more on a dangerous warning.

"I understand Tito and I'm very sorry I truly regret everything I did" he apologize in most humble tone.

Humigop muna ito ng kape bago nagsalita. Bumalik na ang light aura nito.

" I wonder why you like to make Adi cry. The first time you meet her you also make her cry Quell ang galing talagang magbiro ng tadhana" naiiling na sabi ng matanda na nagpakunot ng kanyang noo.

Sa pagkakatanda niya first time he meet Adi he was just make her mad but he never made her cry.

"Anyway I need to go sent my greetings to Allen and Sam."

Tumayo na siya at nakipagkamay nito.
