{James’ POV}

It’s our first serious fight after we’re married. I don’t know if Nadine’s just being real stupid or she’s just still in the post wedding bliss state that she acts unaffected by everything.

Our friends are going head to head against each other and now she’s putting the blame on me. How can it be my fault? Surely she has seen Bret flirting with Yassi and she didn’t do anything about it. She’s closer to Andre that I am. She should have taken his feelings into account. Instead, she let Yassi fall for Bret. Even going so much as bringing Yassi to every soiree with my squad.

Andre’s deleting every single photos of Yassi on his IG. She tells me as she scans through her phone, occasionally dabbing tissue on her nose.

She just got off the phone with Dre. I couldn’t help but feel sad for him. Must have hurt like a bitch if he cried the way he did on facetime.

I kept to myself. Giving her the silent treatment. I knew if I tell her it was her fault, she would just get pissed at me.

That night was the first time we slept with our backs turned from each other.
