Hey, man. Jake threw a can of beer my way.

Hey. I sat down next to Paulo.

Good. End of conversation.

We all drank in silence, Jake making comments every now and then. I don’t know what Paulo’s issue was, but he’s been drinking a lot even before OTWOL ended; must have something to do with KC.

This is the reason why I preferred hanging out with them and their friends instead of my squad. We don’t give a damn whatever issues we have. They don’t talk to me, I don’t talk to them. Although Paulo tried to talk to me about Naddie the first time he joined us. I guess he got tired of hearing the same response.

So now, we just have a few beers. Then they’d start messing with girls and after a few drinks I’d go home. I’ve been crashing on Bret’s place. I don’t talk to him and I think he’s getting a little fed up. But I can’t go home. The house has too many memories of Nadine. The condo too has been home to us for so long every single corner reminds me of her.
