{James’ POV}

I don’t feel like going up on stage anymore. Days before I was so excited about the whole thing but now that it’s time for the performance, I feel so out of sorts I don’t feel like performing anymore. Backstage Kean took all of us by surprise giving Naddie a smack on her lips, exclaiming it’s for good luck. It was a good thing Bret and Sam flanked me on both sides, holding my arm in restraint. I would have punched the daylights out of him if they didn’t. Nadine was brilliant. It was tough to watch her perform with Kean. I swear to God if I had any way to keep her from working with him again, I would. The guy’s being all too touchy-feely. And I can’t really do anything about it. No one knows we’re together but our closest friends. It was Sam who talked me into going through with the performance. But I knew deep down, I could’ve given more if I wasn’t too distracted.
