{James’ POV}
“What would you ask me 5 years from now? Huh?” Nadine looks surprised with the cue question. We were given sets of cue cards to choose from. I guess that one slipped her notice. I hear loud cheers from the audience behind me to ask “Will You Marry Me?” I just laughed. It’s so amusing whenever people tease us about starting our own family when we’ve already been married. It hasn’t been long but the past couple of weeks were the most blissful I’ve ever been. I thought about the question, and I wonder if we’re still together by then.
Hmmm…5 years? So I told her the first thought that popped into my head.
Masaya ka pa? I hope she is. I hope that 5 years from now, we’re still as happy as we are at the moment.
She looked me in the eye and answered: Yes.
