Since I got done with work early I decided to surprise Cordell at work like Grace suggested. I had never just shown up without telling him but I was going today. I was hoping that this would help put us back on the right track.
I easily found my way to his office and was almost in when I was stopped. "Um you can't go in there," a girl said with long fake hair and smile to match.
"And why is that?"
"Because Mr. Jackson is taking a conference call and is extremely busy so he doesn't have time to entertain groupies." She put her hands on her hips and flipped her hair as if she won something. "Now if you wouldn't mind leaving and you could call and see if he is less busy later." I laughed walking up to her.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me. Mr. Jackson doesn't have time for you, so be gone," she put both of her hands on her desk lowering her upper half showing her inappropriate clothing. I laughed at her attempt to intimidate me. She thought she was actually winning and it amused me. I slowly walked up to her making sure I invaded her personal space. If she wanted to play this game then she would soon find out she was on the losing end.
"Normally I wouldn't let little girls like you bother me, but since I'm in such a good mood I can spare some time to put you back in your place. Now in case you didn't get the message or you just went blind when you entered his office but not only is my face on Mr. Jackson's desk but my kids are too. And if your immature brain still can't put it together let me help you, I am Mrs. Jackson meaning I can go in and out of that office or wherever the hell else I please all I want and it would be wise for you to remember that." I smiled back at her watching her face drop to the floor. She looked down at my left hand and then back up at me. I nodded then turned walking into the office satisfied with my victory.
As I was entering his office Cordell was putting down the phone. When he saw me he smiled standing up and walking to me. He kissed me on my lips while putting his hands around my waist. I didn't respond since I was still reeling over his damn secretary. Even though, I had won I was still pissed. He stepped back now frowning. "What's wrong with you?" I bit my lip and unhooked myself from him. I walked over to his desk and sat on the edge of it.
"I thought I told you to get rid of that secretary." He still didn't see the seriousness of it as he stuffed his hands in his pockets smiling at me.
"She does good work and with the expansion I can't afford to try and find someone new."
"I don't care Cordell. That girl is too damn protective over you. She acts like she's the one that's fucking married to you, not me and I don't fucking like it."
"I will talk to her about her actions and see to it that it is handled." I stood up not satisfied.
"You do more than see that her actions are handled, you better make sure she learns her damn place and stays in it. And the next time I come see you she better not say shit to me but put on her fake ass smile she loves to wear."
"Whatever you want dear." He walked up to me rewrapping his arms around me and kissing my neck. "Now are you going to tell me why you have come to see me?" he made a trail from my neck to my lips then looked at me.
"I came to see my husband and I even brought you a blueberry bear claw." He took the food out of my hand letting it drop to the floor.
"That's sweet and all but I have a craving for something way sweeter." He picked me up placing me on his desk. He got in between my legs pushing my dress higher up my legs. He went back to my neck and begin leaving small kisses along my neck bone.
"And what if someone comes in," I moaned trying to keep my senses.
"I've locked the door, no one can come in without me letting them. Now lie back and let daddy take care of you." He smirked taking off his jacket and climbing on top of me.
