Cordell and I had finally gotten everything together for our trip out on the sea. I was so excited that we would be spending some time together alone without the kids around. I loved my kids but I needed some time with just my husband. "How long are you and daddy going to be gone," Kaden asked pouting. I picked him up kissing him.

"We will only be gone the weekend and we will be back when you get home from school Monday." I put him down and we kissed all of them before leaving and telling them all to behave with my mom.

"I want you two to have fun and not to worry about a thing while gone."

"Just take care mom."

"I will, you just have fun with your husband." I kissed her goodbye and we got in the truck. I felt good about our little getaway. I hadn't had a vacation in long time so getting away from everything was just what I needed.

"I have never left them alone." I turned to him and he grabbed my hand squeezing it. Of course he was okay since he was always away for business trips but me I had never left my kids alone before. I had been with the kids since they were born so it was becoming hard to be without them now. Even Sapphire was my baby and I missed her.

"They will be okay. You can't forget that the reason for this weekend is for us to reconnect."

"I know." I squeezed his hand back sitting back to enjoy the ride.

It took us about three hours to get to the dock where the yacht was waiting. When I saw it I squealed excited. I had never been on a yacht like this or taken a trip on the sea. I looked over to Cordell and he was just staring at me smiling. "What?"

"Nothing just can't believe you this happy to go on a boat."

"It's not just the boat, I'm just anxious to start our trip together, you know? I just hope this is as fun as it looks."

"Trust me it will be." We got out the car along with our things and headed to the dock where the boat was. We came in contact with a guy who seemed to be waiting for us.

"Mr. Jackson," the man asked as Cordell approached him. Cordell shook his head and the man smiled. "Good! The yacht is all set and ready and completely full with fuel. I had it stocked with food as you requested."

"Thank you." They shook hands and we got on the yacht putting our things up and getting things in place for the weekend.

"This boat is beautiful," I said looking around at the boat. This boat seemed to go on and on forever. Everything was nicely furnished and was lavish as if for super rich people. I couldn't believe this was for us and I got to live on this for a weekend.

"You like it?"

"Hell yea I love it! How much did all this cost to get?"
