So I was back at work and I hated it and loved it at the same time. I missed the boat and the clean fresh water. I did have to admit that Cordell and I were working better together since we got back. Not to mention the kids literary attacked us when we got back.

I had just left an annual meeting which took forever to end. I was exhausted. All I wanted to do was go home and sleep the day away. I went back to my office and sat down in my chair trying to catch my breath. I closed my eyes taking in everything. "Well don't you look tired?" I opened up my eyes to see Denise.

"Yes I am. I hope you didn't bring me bad news."

"Actually I bought you this." She dropped a file in front of me.

"What is this?"

"Open it." I opened it and saw my fashion lines' name on the front of a magazine. I smiled. "I thought seeing this would make you smile. I thought you would want to see the preview of the magazine before it went to press."

"I did it." My mind was spinning with amazement. I had worked so hard to get to this point and I was almost there.

"Yes, you did. You even picked out a brilliant name."

I bit my lip. "I know."

"Are you going to tell Cordell?"

"Not until the day of the launch. I want him to be surprised by everything."

"But won't he be able to see everything when the magazine launches live. This magazine will be everywhere, it's not like you can go around covering his eyes everywhere he goes."

"I have made sure to tell him not to peek and he has promised me he won't. I know it won't be easy but I think it can be done. This is just the sneak peek not the full magazine, this will just be online."

"If you say so, but I also came in here to remind you that you were supposed to pick up the kids." I sighed.

"Yea I remember. Seriously though Denise everything looks perfect. But I want you to look over it again yourself and make any corrections you see then send it up to be launched and scanned into the website." She nodded.

"Okay boss."

"Also I want you to supervise every minute of the launch team's progress. We still have a long way to go so I want you watching everything."

"You sure?"

"Denise how many times do I have to tell you that I trust you and your opinion? I trust your judgement and believe you will make the right decisions."

I had just picked up the twins and Sapphire and was trying to head home but the twins got into a big hitting match. They started screaming and throwing things and I was good until something hit me in the back of the head. I pulled over yelling at them. I was not in the mood for this right now. Having two boys that were twins was hell. They were always at each other's throat. "What did I tell you two?"

"To stop fighting," Kaden said pouting. Yes, he was cute when he pouted but I had to stay firm.

"Then why do you two keep doing it? And why are you throwing things?"

"Because Kaden threw his cup at me so I threw my cup at him," Jaden said.

"There had better not be any juice on my floor you two." I looked back to where they were to see their cups on the floor along with food they had thrown. "When we get home the both of you are going to clean your mess up. I can't believe you two. Just wait until I tell your dad about this." I turned around breathing hard. I couldn't wait for them to grow up.
