Now that Lelaih and Cordell are married with children the real test begins. Will they be able to with stand the obstacles that face them or will they fall a part and lose the family they worked so hard to get.
I walked down stairs into the kitchen to see the kids along with Cordell sitting at the table with food in front of them. I stopped and smiled because this was a site to see. Usually I had to make breakfast so everyone could eat but this morning the food was already made and that just made me warm. "What are ya'll eating?" they all tuned to me with their mouths full.
"Daddy helped us make frittatas," Sapphire said smiling wide. I looked over at Cordell and he was smirking like he had done something great.
"Oh really?"
"Do you want some of mine mommy," Kaden asked looking at me and handing out some of his food. I smiled and walked towards him.
"I sure would." I picked him up out of his seat and placed him in my lap taking a bite of his food. I had to give it to Cordell he knew how to cook. Everyone looked at me trying to see if I liked it or not and I thought that was cute.
"Do you like it?"
"I love it." I kissed his cheek which made him smile big showing his missing teeth. I looked at Sapphire and Jaden and they were smiling too from me liking their cooking. When I looked at Cordell he was sitting back like he knew what he had made was good. He winked at me and I just stuck my tongue out at him.
"Mommy can I come to work with you," Sapphire asked out of nowhere.
"Why do you want to come to work with me Sapphire?"
"Because daddy promised that he would take the twins with him to work." I looked at Cordell and this time he looked down like he knew something was wrong. I looked back at Sapphire who was looking at me expecting an answer.
"When school gets out for the summer then you can come to work with me for a day."
"We have a teacher day coming up, can I come on that day?" I sighed. This girl was not about to let up.
"Fine Sapphire you can come that day." She squealed making everyone close their ears.
When I got to work I had to go over thing that happened at the photoshoot and see what we had. So far everything looked good but I had to double check before I sent to be published. I got up and went out to where Denise was, "Hey Denise can you come in here for a minute."
"What's up boss?"
"I want you to send out the checks to the all the models and the photographer and anyone else that helped at the photoshoot."
She nodded, "Will do boss." She headed for the door but I called her name.
"Here." I handed her a piece of paper.
"What's this?"
"Your check for modeling for the cover and there's one for Chase too." She looked at the check and her eyes went wide.
"Holy hell that's a lot of money. Maybe I should be a model." I laughed along with her loving her face.
"Do you want to see the photo of you I picked out for the cover?"
"Hell yea!" I laughed and pulled it up to show her. She stared at it as if she was shocked and covered her mouth with her hands. I couldn't tell if she loved it or not. Personally I thought she looked bad ass.
"What do you think?"
