"But mostly when she's here, I tried my best for her to tell me what happened but nothing would work. This usually happens everyday five years ago but then it went from thrice a week, twice, once and now it had been a month since she last came here. I thought everything was alright but now, I guess it just got worst." She sigh and I looked at Y/n.
"She has a kind heart. Did you know that she use to help me in the Hospital when I was taking care of the children? Everyone loved her but... that was seven years ago since her... mother died, everything for her went upside down. She changed."
"She became cold towards the others and doesn't talk to others anymore. The children at the Hospital were searching for her but... I guess she lost her spirit. You see, the old cheery and happy Y/n had been replace with a sad and serious one. I kinda miss the old her."
"I kinda wish that the old her would return." She then look at me after she treated her wounds. "Are you her boyfriend?"
Her question caught me off-guard and I felt a blush crawling up my cheek.
What the... why am I blushing?
"I see, then can you make a promise to me then?" She ask and I sigh and nod.
"As long as it's appropriate." I shrug and she let out a small laugh.
"Of course it is." Her face turned serious. "Promise that you'll protect her to any harm no matter what even if it has to cost your life. Be there for her when she needs you and support her all the way. You will be there when she cry and you will never leave her side when she needed you the most. And most importantly..."
She locked her eyes into my one and it felt like she was hypnotizing me.
"Never ever hurt her physicality, emotionally and mentally. Especially her feelings and her heart." She finished and I gulp.
Well I could make the promise and cross my finger behind my back, without her noticing, as a sign that I will break her promise. I have no intention on... on... what am I even trying to say?
"I-I promise." I vowed and crossed my finger behind my back.
"Good. Now she would be okay. All she needs is rest. It would be a few minutes before she wakes up. Oh and one more thing, if you break your promise, I will eat you alive." She smiled at me and I nod.

I stood up and told her that I was going to get her lunch since she hasn't eaten yet so I left for a minute.
Neferpitou's POV
Well, I guess that scared the child away. Even though I already know that he might not keep his promise, my only intention is to scare him. No doubt that he was Shalnark, the popular Playboy here in Hunter Academy. Yeah, I only wanted to scare him so next time he would know his place.
Reader's POV
I woke up with a headache and I had to groan in pain.
"Oh, you're awake." Pitou's familiar voice cheered.
"Where am I?" I ask while sitting up.
"You're in the School's hospital. A decent guy found you and brought you here." She answered and I memories flash in my head, giving me more headache.
"Right..." I sigh then it made me wonder. "Who brought me in here?"
Wait, it doesn't even matter.
Before she can answer my question, I beat her up to it.
"Never mind." I said and jump off the bed.
"Where are you going?" She ask.
"Library. I have English next and the teacher wants us to get a book to read." I replied and she nods.
She opened her mouth to say something but before she can say what she has to say, I was already gone. As I just said, I went to the library the same time that the bell rang.
"Y/n!" The Playboy called me and I sigh in frustration.
"What do you want this time?" I ask as I face him and he was holding two burgers and two water.
"Here." He handed me one of each.
"What's this?"
"Well since you haven't had lunch, I decided to buy you lunch."
"Tch. I don't need your generosity Playboy." I was about to return it but he backed away.
"Take it or leave it?"
"Ugh, isn't it obvious? You take it."
"Please have it Y/n. I don't want my future girlfriend to starve." I glared at him as he said that.
"I. Am. Not. Your. Girlfriend." I growled.
"Besides, we're not even friends." I added and he pouted.
"Fine, just take the food and I promise that I will leave you alone." He stated and I sigh in defeat.
"Fine." I started eating the burger on the way and drank the water.
When I finished both of them, he was still following me.
"What are you doing?" I ask him.
"Following you." He replied with sarcasm and a 'Isn't it obvious?' face.
"I know you're following me but why? Didn't you promise to-" he cuts me off.
